The Kiss...who can resist...

We all know THE KISS when we see it.
The KISS brings us joy, pain, contentment, anger, fear, tears …. vulnerability and emotions we never knew we had.
It is associated with LOVE but it doesn’t have to be, as we all kiss for different reasons, some of which are shown here.

The Kiss of Passion

The Kiss of Innocence

The Kiss of Betrayal

The Kiss of Death

The Kiss of An Angel

The Kiss or Rear Ender

The Kiss Off

The Candy Kisses

The Princely Kiss

The Friendship Kiss

The Farewell Kiss

The Butterfly or Laughing Eskimo Kiss

The Well Known Beloved Kiss

The Final Kiss

Next to eating, THE KISS is the most important thing in all our lives.
As beings with human emotion, THE KISS can expose truths and lies better than any court of law.
It connects and separates better than telephones and walls and it unites better than flowers, chocolates or ice cream.
Without it…. we’d be very lonely people indeed.

From Here to Maturity

I went to the liquor store to buy a bottle of wine.
Another woman was standing in front of me and the cashier asked her for her ID.

When it came to my turn, she didn't ask me.

Now that is kinda a bummer, I thought, when they stop asking you for your ID.
So, I went home and changed and came back to buy another bottle of wine.

This time she asked me for my ID. :):):)

This is what I looked like.:)

After checking my ID though.........She gave me THE look....

I must have looked really young lol :)

Man ----Woman ---- What?

1. A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he wants. A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn't want.
2. A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband. A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife.
3. A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend. A successful woman is one who can find such a man.
4. To be happy with a man you must understand him a lot & love him a little. To be happy with a woman you must love her a lot & not try to understand her at all.
5. Married men live longer than single men - but married men are a lot more willing to die.
6. Any married man should forget his mistakes - there's no use in two people remembering the same thing.
7. Men wake up as good-looking as they went to bed. Women somehow deteriorate during the night.
8. A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn't. A man marries a woman expecting that she won't change & she does.
9. A woman has the last word in any argument. Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.
10. There are 2 times when a man doesn't understand a woman - before marriage & after marriage.

Recipe to Wash

The Washer-Women

1889
Renoir
Quote:

Ye say, they all have passed away, That noble race and brave, That their light canoes have vanished From off the crested wave; That 'mid the forests where they roamed There rings no hunter's shout; But their name is on your waters, Ye may not wash it out.

Washing Clothes Recipe

Never thought of a 'washer' in this light before..what a blessing! '

Washing Clothes Recipe' -- imagine having a recipe for this ! ! !

Years ago an Alabama grandmother gave the new bride the following recipe: This is an exact copy as written and found in an old scrapbook - with spelling errors and all.

WASHING CLOTHES

Build fire in backyard to heat kettle of rain water.

Set tubs so smoke wont blow in eyes if wind is pert.

Shave one hole cake of lie soap in boilin water.

Sort things, make 3 piles 1 pile white, 1 pile colored, 1 pile work britches and rags.

To make starch, stir flour in cool water to smooth, then thin down with boiling water.

Take white things, rub dirty spots on board, scrub hard, and boil, then rub colored don't boil just wrench and starch.

Take things out of kettle with broom stick handle, then wrench, and starch.

Hang old rags on fence.

Spread tea towels on grass.

Pore wrench water in flower bed.

Scrub porch with hot soapy water.

Turn tubs upside down.

Go put on clean dress, smooth hair with hair combs.

Brew cup of tea, sit and rock a spell and count your blessings.

Paste this over your washer and dryer Next time when you think things are bleak, read it again, kiss that washing machine and dryer, and give thanks. First thing each morning you should run and hug your washer and dryer, also your toilet---those two-holers used to get mighty cold! For you non-southerners -wrench means rinse. ;)
AND WE THNK WE HAVE IT ROUGH?

Wedding Humor

A young couple were married and then embarked on their honeymoon. When they returned, the bride ran to the phone and called her mother, who asked, "How was your honeymoon, dear?" "Oh, mama!" she replied, "The honeymoon was so wonderful and romantic..." But then, suddenly she burst out crying and said "but, mama, as soon as we returned home, he started using the most horrible language... things I'd never heard before! I mean, all these awful 4-letter words! You've got to come get me and take me home. Please mama!"

"Darling, darling," her mother said, "calm down and tell me, what words could be so awful?" And, the daughter cried "please don't make me tell you, mama! I'm so embarrassed - they're just too awful! Just come and get me, please!"

"Oh, darling, you must tell me what has you so upset... tell me these horrible 4-letter words!" Still sobbing, the bride said, "Oh, mama... words like DUST, WASH, IRON, COOK...!"

A Naked Summer.

Well Almost naked. :)

They have these new, tan through bathing suits on the market which apparently help you not get tan lines.
People asked if you can see through them when wet and the answer was no.
What a great idea!!!!

and what good is it if we can't laugh at ourselves, eh?....

A plane is on its way to Detroit when a blonde woman in economy class gets up and moves into an open seat in the first class section.

The flight attendant watches her do this, and politely informs the woman that she must sit in economy class because that's the type of ticket she paid for.

The blonde replies, "I'm blonde, I'm beautiful, I'm going to Detroit and I'm staying right here."

After repeated attempts and no success at convincing the woman to move, the flight attendant goes into the cockpit and informs the pilot and co-piolet that there's a blonde bimbo sitting in first class who refuses to go back to her proper seat. The co-pilot goes back to the woman and explains why she needs to move, but once again the woman replies by saying, "I'm blonde, I'm beatiful, I'm going to Detroit and I'm staying right here."

The co-pilot returns to the cockpit and suggests that perhaps they should have the arrival gate call the police and have the woman arrested when they land. The pilot says, "You say she's blonde? I'll handle this. I'm married to a blonde. I speak blonde." He goes back to the woman and whispers quietly in her ear, and she says, "Oh, I'm sorry," then quickly moves back to her seat in economy class.

The flight attendant and co-pilot are amazed and ask him what he said to get her to move back to economy without causing any fuss.

"I told her first class isn't going to Detroit."

Resolve It In Your Dreams.

The park was green, lush and very well maintained.

Oak trees mixed in with elm and birch alongside a field one could only describe as golf grass,

no weeds, all level and well fertilized. The silence was deafening.

I aimlessly wandered with my shepherd along the dirt path, admiring the view when Max stepped onto this meticulous lawn to pee.

I turned my head and saw what looked like a herd of beautiful Golden Retrievers, playing, running. They looked so free and happy it lifted my spirits to watch them.

Both Max and I stopped to gaze at them.

In the middle of the field appeared a small, thin woman, dressed in a light two piece white suit and page boy white hair. She looked out of place standing there all by herself. It was as if she was pasted onto the field.

I took a closer look and saw her staring at me. It began to alarm me to see that her eyes were pitch black, almost hollow looking.

At that moment a young Golden came to entice Max to play on the field with her friends.

Max raised his ears and was getting excited, wanting to join them.

I realized Max was trespassing and quickly pulled him off the lawn, back onto the dirt pathway.

This action angered the Golden who now began to growl and lift it's lips exposing incisors I didn't care for nor expect from a Golden.

It dawned on me that these dogs weren't as nice as they seemed and they were ready to rip Max apart if he took part in their play . All of a sudden everything had a sinister look to it.

As long as Max stayed on the earthen path, he'd be ok because I saw they couldn't leave the grass.

I glanced up to look into the eyes of this woman in the field who I now recognised as death and all I could ask her in my head was......WHY?

Why did she want to hurt me by taking the thing I loved the most?

I woke up with a pounding heart and immediately the thought came that death was here for one of my Kids and since Max belonged to my oldest son, I feared it would be him.

I jumped out of bed and was ready to confront death and tell her to back off, because she wasn't getting him.

Finding myself at my son's door I opened it to see if he was breathing and finding that he was, relaxed. I checked the other door and my younger son was also ok.

The whole day I worked myself up thinking up of ways we could all die. There would be an earthquake, the earth would open and gobble us up, a 100 foot wave would come and swallow us, the sky would fall.

It was a sign to prepare for bad times.

How do you prepare when you don't know what will happen? Do you buy a boat? Do you build a shelter? Do you live on top of a huge mountain ? Or do you run... run as fast as you can.

Ok.......... Where? Where do you run to? Where do you hide and from what? What weapons do you need?

It got to be complicated . I had to do something . Anything was better than staying a sitting duck.

Man is so little compared to the powers out there.

The waves, the storms ,the bombs, the earth, the universe......it's all out there, threatening us.

We really needed a miracle to survive.

We live and we can't imagine the act of dying. The act of having your life sucked out of you.
We can't imagine being the dust in some ones vacuum. We can't imagine being like pearls dissolving in vinegar.

We can't imagine ourselves lying there like empty shells, like nothings, like meaningless lumps of meat, unimportant, un-alive.

Storms have eyes. Does the universe have eyes? Can we poke out the eye of the universe like we can a crocodile so he lets us go?Or do we try to be inventive like a turtle which can breath through its butt? Or do we grow 5 eyes like bees to see danger better just to have some one outsmart us like putting liquor on a scorpion, to make us go mad and sting ourselves.

I don't know!

My brain was burning. I felt like I was the brunt of a joke where men have boxes their brains live in and women are like... all wires all connected, buzzing, having to think about everything for every one. Why us?

How many times do we think about the ants we step on?

There are like..... 1 million ants for ever person. What do I care? Unless I needed to eat them.Every acre in the US, has about 100 pounds of insects We are even smaller to the powers that be. We are molecules, germs, diseases, viruses to them.

We give them problems because we know how to escape just like our germs do.

But I don't know. Where do I run? Where do I go? What am I supposed to do?

OK maybe analyzing how much copper and zinc I have in my hair to measure my intelligence is going too far?
I know it doesn't curl anymore soooo .... what does that mean?

Play the odds game? One in two million chances to be killed by lightning, one in 5 thousand chances to die in a car crash,1 in 2 million chance of falling out of bed and 1 in 25 million chance of dying in an airplane.

Hey there's an idea. We should all live in the sky. Now that's a beginning to seeing the light.

Statistics show that if we compared to day with the 1900's half the people would not be alive.

Every day.... we have....... about 2000 pounds of space dust ........falling on the earth.

This ......means 2000 pounds of ......what could have been foreign life ......as well as minerals to keep this planet alive.

Most Egyptians only lived thirty years, .........300 years ago as opposed to today and ..............if we played pop music, we'd have more eggs to eat....................................

Cholo- My Little Bandit - Fell From The Roof.

This is Cholo

He must be only 4 weeks old here.

He still has blue eyes.

I had to use a fish net to dig him out of my rain gutter.

We were afraid of him. He was all huffy with a bloody nose.

He must have had quite a scare poor guy falling 22 feet,

but he soon became so nice we thought of adopting him.

Alas, the laws here, do not permit such things. lol

When my son held him, he said:" I never thought I would ever be doing this

People say Raccoons can become nasty as well as the squirrels who bite off the genitals of

other males trespassing in their territory.

Cholo was very particular as to where he did his business.

He didn't like to do it in the cage and would make such a ruckus

till we took him out.

I had to let him go sooner than I expected . My son had

a Hawaii soccer trip and I went with him because it was rather far,

like off the continent far. lol

We had a wonderful time and stayed at the luxurious Hawaii University dorms, where Obama's Mom and Dad went to school.

The cafeteria had fabulous, buffet type, food where you could eat all you want.

Three meals a day cost us 20 dollars per person.

This is a great deal especially if you have a family.

What I also liked was they had laundry machines which took prepaid laundry credit cards to use so you never had to suffer searching for change.

The ocean was just a few minutes away. There is plenty to do out there. One never gets bored.

Hawaii must have the freshest air in the world.

The last two days, we got rooms at the Hawaiian Village (Hilton) and enjoyed a luau.

It was the best trip ever. :)

Cholo was left in my husbands care.
He saw the Mom in the grass and opened the cage door.

She heard her baby chirping and came to find him.

My husband said that was some awsome reunion.

The Mom first gave him heck, then put her arm around him,

kissed him and then they both walked off into the woods.

Well, that's my today story.:)

Have a beautiful day every one. :)

Kitchen Gardening

Small space gardening is increasing in popularity.

Plants clean the air.

Nothing nicer than talking to your seedling and watching it grow.

These plants will have no toxins in them/ no pesticides or insecticides.

They will be grown and controlled by you and the results are quite fruitful.

It will give your system a break from store bought foods.

The most exciting idea is when you grow them upside down. J

Let the rain water your plants

Nice house decor

These strawberries look delicious

This upside down garden has different vegetables, although I feel the pots are a bit too small for the roots.

But then what do I know lol

cucumbers

carrots

zucchini

lettuce

eggplant

long beans

pea pods

and strawberries.

Good Luck and have fun gardening J

DILLY OF A PROBLEM

It was a dilly of a problem

I couldn't make it go away

The cat sat watchin and a waitin

For me to fly away.

The more I fluttered and I screeched

The more he stretched toward my feet

Until he stepped upon a rake.

A BIG MISTAKE!

The rake saluted and he ran

But not fast enough, cause he got slammed

Now I 'm safe and my nest is warm

Teweet tewee a problem solved.

But the cat, kept running as you will see

He had a problem

but it wasn't me. :)

Two Lonely Tulips

Out of 100 bulbs, these are the only two tulips that survived the squirrels.
They come back every year, to rejuvenate my soul. They are the survivors and in my opinion heroes deserving of a medal. lol

This year, no one even picked them.
The children are growing up in my neighborhood. lol

I went shopping and bought some soup bones because my husband loves soup, especially ox tail soup, which I croc pot all night for the flavor.
They were remodeling in the store and I guess they put the wrong bones in the soup bone section.
I bought them, believing they were beef, when in fact they were pork.
I made my soup and my husband was a bit disappointed when he saw I put in the wrong bones.

But then I was thinking, if they don't make soup out of these bones, what do they make out of them? Then I thought .....maybe it wasn't a mistake.
Maybe no one is buying pork anymore because of the flu so they slipped them into the beef bone section.
I'll just leave it to being an honest mistake. It's a bit too late to return them lol

After my delicious meal in Seattle, I decided to try to make a copy of it at home.
Calamari shrimp and crab were invited into my carosse and then I began shopping for the corn shallots cilantro etc... I can't wait to chop up the corn cobs so they are easier to eat on the plate.
Next to the shop vac guy, who uses his vacuum to suck out anything that falls down the drain, using nylons to cover the vacuum hose, this is another "bestest" idea.

A thought popped into my mind to check where the seafood came from.
They turned the seafood labels around so you couldn’t read them, which I found odd.

I discovered they all came from China. People are getting ill in China from the seafood, so disappointed, I put everything back.
They put the products on special probably because no one is buying from China anymore.
The other products from Portugal and California did not drop in price.

Now I see I have to be extra careful shopping and reading labels is not my forte . I just like to see it's on special and say
Oh Wow! Here's a good deal. :)

I always figured the store would be careful with what it puts on it's shelves but now I have to be more vigilant.
We are all told about sodium nitrite but almost every product I look at, seems to have it.

Shopping gets to be a drag this way.
The more this happens, the more I advocate growing your own food.
It gives your system a break from store bought food, where you have no control of what its grown on or prepared with, before it is shelved.

It gives you a reason to recycle leaves from trees.

This is my thought to share for today.

Peter I am watching the news and hope you are not in the areas they are showing.

Have a beautiful day every one :)

Mom's Perfect Day :)

I hope every one had as splendid a day as I did, spending Mothers Day with their loved ones.
My son finally managed to call after his game to wish me a Happy M Day with good news about winning the second game on Sunday and scoring two goals.:)

This was my Mothers Day present from him , to win this week end.

Thanks Son!:) Wish I was there to see it.

He visited some universities and the tuition is soo high, I don't know how people can afford it.
But he wants to play soccer and I want him educated, so we have to find the fine line between the two lol

My Husband took me to the Crab Pot on Seattle's Waterfront.
We watched some lovely boats and ferries before getting our table.

They cooked Alaskan crab with mussels, clams, shrimp, red skinned potatoes, and sweet corn chopped in 1 inch pieces together and then plopped everything on paper which they covered the table with.
Then they gave you a cutting board, a hammer and rye bread with butter and butter to dip the seafood in. Different but easy to clean up. I used to eat off banana leaves so this was nothing.lol

It was the most delicious crab I ever ate, I must say and I love crab.
Even the lemonade we ordered was just exceptionally perfect.
Not too strong and not too weak and not too sweet. Just PURRRFECT!

Thanks Honey, for a wonderful day!:)

Parking was free on Sunday, which was a treat and we parked across the street under the bridge which was quite convenient for me, since I have a small problem with my knee. lol
(Talk about having the need for tune ups lol
I am trying trigosomine and will know soon if it helps or not.)

After our wonderful meal we exited to our car and with the aid of our Tom Tom, we got to the airport just on time, to pick up the boys. It used a different route, we would otherwise never know how to use.

The days are longer now so it just got dark after 9 pm.
The 3 boys we picked up were all in good spirits and very tired.
They snoozed while we drove back up north towards the border.

We dropped two off and got ourselves home by about 1:30 am. Every one rushed to bed, to dream about our great day and week end.

The only sad news we heard was in the papers with headlines of one local death due to swine flu.
That is really very close to hitting home.

Well ... now we have new things to look forward to.
Keep on plugging as they say. lol

Take care and have a wonderful Monday!!! :)

Why Jobs/Security Is Important? This Could Be You

This is Hastings Street today, in Vancouver.
This is why our Election this year is important.

We need a strong economy so these people can be helped and new people don't end up here. The Green Party supports Legalization of pot as it seems so does the NDP.
It doesn't stop there.

Rumplestiltskin

JDS has inspired me to write this Blog today.
He is my only faithful anonymous blogger I can't visit.
Wat's up wid dat? lol

As I read his usual positive comment, Rumplestiltskin popped into my head.lol
Rumpelstiltskin is a story from Grimms Fairy Tales which was written around the
1800's.
In England they had a similar tale but with Tom Tit Tot.
Now why would this little mischievous goblin or imp or spirit, who could spin straw into gold, force a girl to give up her first born child?
Why would he help her to become a Queen?
Why would he refuse money?
It sounds somewhat like a Celine Dion story.
She wanted to sing and her now husband RRRenee, asked her, do you want to sing or to become a great Diva singer?
So she let him manage her and see where she is today. On top of the world.

I guess this story teaches many things.

1)It's important to fight for what is important to you.
2)Don't gamble because it could cost you plenty.
3)Don't make promises you can't keep.
4)How the sins of the Father affects the family and how a family's support can get you out of hot water.
5) The devil can be beat at his own game, which inspires hope :)
6)You need to be able to pull your weight in a family.
7) Watch your children and belongings so they don't get snatched from you.
8)Abuse of women's rights.
9)How the powerful control the less fortunate.
10) Don't brag
11) Beware of strangers bearing gifts

Wow! Never thought of it this way when I was reading it as a kid.

I just saw another world opening through this curious little man, who left me with so many questions, it would take years to find answers to.

Nice job JDS :) There, you got some nice comments as well. :)

The sun is shining, my son is in San Jose for soccer so he will not be here for Mother's Day and Santa Barbara is on Fire.
Every day we get a taste of the good the bad and the ugly.

Take care every one :) Enjoy the sunshine!!

Gas Up For the Day :)

An old penny pincher had no friends. Just before he died he asked his doctor, lawyer, and pastor to gather around him at bedside.
"I have always heard that you can't take it with you. But I want to disprove that theory," he said. "I have $90,000 under my mattress, and when I die, just before they throw the dirt on me at my burial, I want you each to toss in an envelope with $30,000 within."
The three attended the funeral and each threw his envelope in the grave. On the way back from the cemetery, the pastor said, "I must confess. I needed $10,000 for my new church, so I only threw in $20,000."
The doctor then said, "I must confess too. I needed $20,000 for a new hospital I was opening up, so I only threw in $10,000."
The lawyer looked at them both and shook his head. He then said, "Gentlemen, I'm surprised, shocked, and ashamed of you. I don't see how you could dare to go against that man's final wish. I mean, I threw in my personal check for the full amount!"

Living on Earth is expensive, but it does include a free trip around the sun every year.
Ever notice that the people who are late are often much jollier than the people who have to wait for them?
If Walmart is lowering prices every day, how come nothing is free yet?
We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors... but they all exist very nicely in the same box.
A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

Two guys met in the middle of the desert. One was carrying a car door, the other an umbrella.
The one with the car door said to the guy with the umbrella, "Why are you carrying that umbrella around? It isn't going to rain in the desert!"
To which the guy with the umbrella replied, "Yeah, but it keeps me out of the sun! By the way, why are you carrying around that car door, you don't even have a car to go with it!"
The guy with the car door replied, "Yeah, well at least if I get too hot from the sun I can just roll down the window!"

Walking through San Francisco's Chinatown, a recent tourist from the Midwest was fascinated with all the Chinese restaurants, shops, signs and banners. One particular building, however, caught his eye with the sign "Moishe Plotnik's Chinese Laundry."
"Moishe Plotnik?" he wondered. "How does that fit in Chinatown?"
So he walked into the shop and saw a fairly standard looking Chinese laundry. He could see that the proprietors were clearly aware of the uniqueness of the name as there were baseball hats, T-Shirts and coffee mugs emblazoned with the logo "Moishe Plotnik's Chinese Laundry."
There was also a fair selection of Chinatown souvenirs, indicating that the name alone had brought many tourists into the shop. The tourist selected a coffee cup as a conversation piece to take back to his office.
Behind the counter was a smiling old Chinese gentleman who thanked him for his purchase in English, thickly accented with Chinese.
"Can you tell me how this place got a name like "Moishe Plotnik's Chinese Laundry?" the tourist asked.
The kind gentleman answered, "Ahh... Everybody ask that. Is name of owner."
"Oh.. is he here now?"
"He is right here," replied the kind gentleman. "He is me."
"Really? How did you receive a name like Moishe Plotnik?" the tourist asked.
"Is simple," said the kind gentleman. "Many, many year ago when come to this country, was stand in line at Documentation Center. Man in front is Jewish gentleman from Poland. Lady look at him and say, 'What your name?' He say, 'Moishe Plotnik.' Then she look at me and say, 'What your name?'"
"I say, 'Sam Ting.'"

2009 Farmers Almanac Predicts Colder Than Average Winter For America
0
points
The 2009 Farmers Almanac predicts below average winter temperatures for most of America this winter. The Farmers Almanac has been a trusted weather predicator for 192 years and boasts an 80-85% accuracy rate in the weather forecasts. However, the National Weather Service and the Farmers Almanac are in disagreement about the winter temps and snow fall for 2009. The National Weather Service is predicting a warmer than usual winter for much of America. The 2009 edition of the Farmers Almanac, which goes on sale tomorrow, predicts at least two-thirds of the country will suffer colder temperatures than usual, with the Midwest and Northeast getting the brunt of its chills in January and February. Editor of the Farmers Almanac, Peter Geiger says that "This is going to be catastrophic for millions of people".People rely on the Farmers Almanac not only for winter weather predictions, but for moon phases, fishing charts, planting charts and a host of other information, predicted a year in advance.

WE CAN"T SAY NO

People today are grasping at straws. They yearn for something good to happen.

They are tired of lies, of taxes, of imbalance, of being led by the nose by banks, companies,
false leaders and prophets.

They are tired of being pushed into the myth that Chaos is good because it creates more jobs.
There is just too many people hurt by chaos and so how is this change..... for the better?

Technology is good but it forces you into a faster lifestyle which doesn't give you time to think or reflect on where you are going or what the consequences of your decisions will be or even to pace yourself.
The days go by faster, the nights are not long enough.

Tired, strung out, you look for peace. There is no more fight left in you, no struggling because people are worn out by constant, unending turbulence, from and by those, who will not take NO for an answer.
Common sense has flown out the window.

You can still teach puppies NO but you can't teach your children or the world NO.

They have taken that right away from you, as we have taken it away from God.

The moment they go to school, you lose your children.
They go in with bright eyes, full of confidence and hope and promise and come out dazed,
confused, arrogant, disenchanted.
Their dreams are ripped out from under them, by the very people and system who are there to teach them.

Kids come out fighting, telling you , that you don't understand the world.
You don't know how it is? It's all changed they say.

You think........ truth .....out of the mouth of babes.
Truth .......that once came out of your mouth as well. lol

Now who told them these lies?
And what gives people the right to do that,
rob children, of their rights to be children?

People have lived throughout time, and as the old end their lives and die and the new begin, NOTHING in life has changed.

It's just different people ,doing the same things, with different technology.

We still have jelousies, greed, stubbornness, lies, corruption, fraud.

We still have romance, love, hope, inspiration, desire, passion.

We still have mental illness, insanity, disagreements, cruelty, pain, disease, prisons, torture, self torture.

We still have life and death, war. Our blood is and still runs red.

Laws and politics have done nothing to change things.

We try to change things, to make it easier for people but it backfires on us and stays difficult because saying NO and accepting the word NO ... has always been our problem from the days of Adam and Eve.
All our efforts to change things and do otherwise, have amounted to nothing and are failing us.

We do not see how many good things we have lost, by making the word NO something we refuse to accept.

Now, instead of having a trained puppy, who understands .......NO,
peeing on the floor is wrong,
we have every one objecting to NO and saying
we will pee on the floor if we want to.
No one can stop us.
What are you going to do ?
Nothing.
Because you have no right to.

Nothing has changed.
We fight to stop people from beating others and replaced it with people becoming their own worst enemy and beating up on themselves and then still keeping it your problem, yours to carry on your back, as Jesus carried the cross for our sins... but.. you still can't say and accept the word NO.

You can't say NO. Man is born equal. He just refuses to accept that word and angers God and Jesus said ............it's cause we don't understand.

Hope and faith is lost because only God can give you these things and he's being bullied out of existence, blamed for the world's problems.

No one sees, it's not God who is to be blamed, it's our interpretation of him.
It's our interpretation of all the words in our vocabulary.

How can we ALL be children of God, and then say he is taking sides, making one go against the other?
God said NO to both Adam and Eve which means ,Adam and Eve were equal in his eyes.
Is Adam and Eve equal in our eyes?

Man's Laws have hidden the meaning of Common sense but hope and faith and common sense isn't lost. We are.
These words are still there, if you look for them and want them bad enough .....but along with them, comes the word NO.

Nothing changes in life.

We want what we have lost, we search for it and will continue to search but God has made it clear, that You still can't say NO ....to God.
Jesus bought us time to learn what the meaning of the word is, so we can accept it.

AND WHAT IS GOD?
He is love and peace and
He is in every one of us.

Hope and Faith, Love and Peace is found in understanding the meaning of the word NO and having trust and the
good will to believe in it.

We teach a puppy the word NO and the puppy has love and good will, trust and it wants to be your friend, enough to want to please you and pee outside.

But people????? God tries to teach them NO, but people are like wild
undomesticated animals.

Every day we pass laws saying wild animals cannot be trained AND HAVE NO PLACE IN CITIES . They can't be brought into the house because they will always pee on the floor.

They will turn on you because they will not take NO for an answer.
Why.... because they don't understand what it means.
How does this make wild animals different from mankind?

How can we ask God to invite us into his house, when we refuse to invite them who will not take NO for an answer, into our own?

We all know the 10 Commandments which teach us the word NO.

So we have to ask ourselves a question.

Who is better and smarter and more deserving of God and heaven and peace and love and of answers to all our questions, hopes and dreams?

Man........ or dog?

Who should God open his doors to?

We alienate him today because we know his doors will be closed.
Why?

Because WE CAN"T SAY NO.

Pandora is Back in Town

In BC we are having a provincial election and it is quite an upsetting one for me.

I heard on the news that the NDP and the Green Party are saying they have enough support to legalize pot.

Now why is it upsetting?
I am a Mother and I have kids out there.

For one thing, if the young people support this, it is a very bad sign.
It means our young people are the walking dead.
Young people are supposed to be vibrant, clear eyed, happy, future oriented people with lots
to live for and instead they already gave up before they even began living.

It means this Province doesn’t know right from wrong.

The Province cannot distinguish between good and evil.

The Province doesn’t care about making good judgement decisions which means
catastrophe and death to many people on the street.

It means a lot more angry people, will be walking and driving our city streets,
It means the Province will have more hungry, unemployed, homeless and sick to contend with and support. And the list goes on.

The only ones to gain, will be the people running drug sales, police, army and cemetaries.

Every one else will have to fork up to support the walking dead because they
will be the next NDP and Green targets. As it is most of your paycheck is going to support social issues. How much support do they need before we all do?

When you can’t or refuse to make money on your own, you look into the pockets of
people who worked to have a little for their old age, since there is no one to help there there either thanks to government. and social services bent on destroying families.

This is not right.
Something totally wrong is going on here and we should be wary of Pandora.

Pandora is back in town and she is not here to help us.
There is more to life than sex, work and paying social services for survival.

Otherwise why would people always look up to the sun ?

Is the future and hope sitting in dim lit, smokey dungeons?
Isn't this defeating the Green ideology?
We complain about cows farting.:)
We pass laws against smoking in public places.

Is it right for the NDP to create more misery, just to say they have a more important job to do to keep it at that level?

If people are going to die from pot, cocaine and heroin, what difference does it make to save nature or even pay into social services.? No point to it at all.
No one will live long enough to enjoy it.

You die either way.
Young people have a lot to do in this world and they
should stop clouding their eyes and get to it.

Don't vote for pot. Thats desperation talking.
Vote for innovation, business, prosperity, a clean life.
Thats why the sun shines. It shines for life!

Keeper Things.

A Keeper
Their marriage was good, their dreams focused. Their best friends lived barely a wave away. I can see them now, Dad in trousers, work shirt and a hat; and Mom in a house dress, lawn mower in one hand, and dish-towel in the other. It was the time for fixing things: a curtain rod, the kitchen radio, screen door, the oven door, the hem in a dress. Things we keep.

It was a way of life, and sometimes it made me crazy. All that re-fixing, re-heating leftovers, renewing; I wanted just once to be wasteful. Waste meant affluence. Throwing things away meant you knew there'd always be more.

But when my mother died, and I was standing in that clear morning light in the warmth of the hospital room, I was struck with the pain of learning that sometimes there isn't any more. Sometimes, what we care about most gets all used up and goes away..never to return. So... While we have it, it's best we love it.. And care for it.. And fix it when it's broken... And heal it when it's sick.

This is true: For marriage... And old cars... And children with bad report cards... Dogs and cats with bad hips... And aging parents... And grandparents. We keep them because they are worth it, because we are worth it. Some things we keep, like a best friend that moved away or a classmate we grew up with.
There are just some things that make life important,
like people we know who are special... And so, we keep them close!

I received this from someone who thinks I am a 'keeper,' so I've sent it to the people I think of in the same way.. Now it's your turn to send this to those people that are 'keepers' in your life. Good friends are like stars... You don't always see them, but you know they are always there!
Luv ya . All who read this. Know. I love you. and so do many more. You are not alone :)
You are never alone.

The Dancer Danced......Or Did She?

The Dancer.

One leg is planted firmly on the ground while the other is lifted.
Examining this picture closely, will relate to you the fact that raised leg could be either
the left or the right leg.
We cannot quite be sure.
It is how our brain perceives it to be.
Most people I’ve asked, see it as the right leg.

The same with words.
We have words like
Truth
Innocence
Lies
Justice
Peace
Love
Dance etc…..
What do they all mean?
These words do not exist, in the same temperance with say, a word like chair or a person.
You can’t see, touch, feel, taste, smell, truth for example.

We give meaning to words such as these, from our interpretation and understanding of them.
We argue and fight between each other, because our interpretation and understanding of these words is different.
A word like chair , water, tree, requires no language.
If you point to a tree, people understand it’s a tree.

If we were to read Nietzche, who is a nihilist,
dictionary meaning:
total rejection of established laws and institutions.
anarchy, terrorism, or other revolutionary activity.
total and absolute destructiveness, esp. toward the world at large and including oneself: the power-mad nihilism that marked Hitler's last years.
Philosophy. .
an extreme form of skepticism: the denial of all real existence or the possibility of an objective basis for truth.
nothingness or nonexistence.
(sometimes initial capital letter) the principles of a Russian revolutionary group, active in the latter half of the 19th century, holding that existing social and political institutions must be destroyed in order to clear the way for a new state of society and employing extreme measures, including terrorism and assassination.
annihilation of the self, or the individual consciousness, esp. as an aspect of mystical
experience.),

He would say: “Jesus says, I am truth.” He interprets this to mean that truth is discovered within yourself, by the meaning you give to it and this is obtained through the life you lead.
We create it, to to keep ourselves grounded . Truth is the house we built to live in, where we feel safe, secure and therefore powerful.
The safer we feel, the more powerful we are.
Man has a desire for power but he also has fear (absence from power)

To gain power, we give ourselves self imposed laws like morals ethics and values, to obtain self control.

POWER = SELF IMPOSED MORALS = SELF CONTROL = POWER

You see this going full circle in that the more self control you have, the more powerful you are and this then, makes you happier.
(Today we see unhappiness because people do drugs, drink and find excuses to lose self control)
The more you resistlosing self control, using the self imposed morals, the more power you have over your life and as you continue to "overpower" yourself,
cause that's hard to do, you become a Super man...............And closer to Jesus and God.

Having said this, we go back to the question of the Dancer and truth and
the lifted leg, is it ............the left ........or the right?

Only the Dancer knows.

We are also under the mistaken assumption that all men want to be Supermen, since they want "rights".

The question, inside the labyrinth of interpretation is, do they?

Beau

This is my other darling Beau. He came from Quebec.
His Mom was a retriever/boarder collie mix from Alberta. (Intl family)
We have a country place in Quebec and I think Goldie and her boyfriend, must have populated the whole town.
Every dog we saw was either Beau's brother or a sister.lol
Eventually, I believe the boyfriend got run over by a car and Goldie was shot for chasing deer, by the wild game patrol. So ended a beautiful romance.
Nice to know a family's history.
Of course I would never tell Beau what happened to his Moma.
He is scared as it is.

People think pups don't remember but having pups teaches you things.
Goldie had 6 puppies under the shed. Beau was the second one I held after being taken out by my son while we held the protective Mama. He was cute, chubby and curly.

Beau crawled around outside the dog house and Mama ran around and the chain she was tied to probably hurt the little guy. So up until today he will always stand up, even if he's sleeping, if any one walks by or near him. He's got ears that can hear a pin drop.

Well ,one day Beau sat there with half opened blue eyes and with a shaky head, began barking at my son. He'd roll over with each bark so we watched him with interest and laughed.
My eldest son was the only one he paid attention to so I told him, looks like this dog wants you to pay attention to him and chose you to be his owner.

My eldest son's heart weakened. He already chose Daisy, a pure black puppy. Her eyes were barely opened but we already had her almost toilet trained. She hated to be dirty.
So we found Daisy another home and took Beau instead.

We pampered him and he was a smart little guy. You couldn't fool him. He'd find you no matter where you hid, but he was always afraid some one would hit him or hurt him and is such a coward. If you touch his foot to clip his nails, he'll begin howling like his throat was being cut.

He is the most affectionate dog though and will not leave you alone once you sit down, pushing his cold wet nose under your arm for pats. He can be real pesty.lol

Another of Goldie's pups we found half dead one morning, with a wasp eating at it.
It made a huge wound in the tiny baby, which must have been the runt of the litter.

We took it home and nursed it and fed it and brought it to the Mama to nurse and then took it away.
It had a huge piece of torn skin flapping and we didn;t know what to do with it but mama knew. She ripped it off and licked the wound clean and with a bit of antibiotic around it, the hole began to heal real well and the puppy gained strength and just blossomed.

My neighbors took the two last pups which were left and gave them away to a farmer.
My youngest son was heart broken because we worried so much about this particular little rusty short haired runt. He wanted to keep it but I told him he already had Nugget. Nugget is his dog.

The farm was across the street from the grocery store we shopped in, so I decided to stop and ask the lady if we could see the puppy because my little boy was very upset it was given away.
She said sure! She didn't speak English so we spoke French.

My son went inside for about 10 minutes.
When he came out, he was beaming.

He said Mom, he has the same box and a blanky and they feed him with a bottle, with the same baby formula. They do everything just like we did. He'll be fine. :)

I told him so you see, people are nice and they will not hurt the pup.
We explained why we were so upset. It was dying and was being eaten by a wasp and it took a lot to save the little guy.
The woman seemed interested to learn the pups history said not to worry He was going up North where he could run free and have a great life.
Every time we think about him we are so happy for him.
It was a nice ending.:)

Beau, on the other hand, is in a house and although he would love to run free, there are too many dogs and leash laws.
Since then my son got married and moved to Australia and left his poor Beau behind.
Had I known he would do that, I would have found Beau a home because three dogs in the house is insane.lol

The Forest....heaven and earth...!
