Do you remember me
The tenderness we shared
A child, I slept between your arms
And felt your warm breath upon my brow

Our secret love was a chance meeting
That carved a sweet memory deep within my soul
We could blame the rain, the loneliness
If it were not for recognizing each other,
not quite as strangers, from the past
