The Big One

www.telovation.com/articles/extreme-burg

In Sydney, Australia, they made a burger, 210 pounds using 178 pounds of beef and 120 eggs.

Joe El-Ajouz, owner of Ambrosia On The Spot, said it took 24 hours to create the burger, including 12 hours just to cook the patty, and it required four men to flip, The (Sydney) Daily Telegraph reported Monday.

"I've always wanted to break a world record and this is a bit of fun and a marketing tool to get people in here and get them talking," El-Ajouz said.

The patty was topped with 16 tomatoes, 120 slices of cheese, four pounds of lettuce, a pound of barbecue sauce and placed between 46 pounds of bread. The previous record holder for the world's largest burger was made in the United States and weighed 185 pounds.

Now that's a burger.

I wonder how many Lilliputians would need to make, to fill Gulliver up with, of these burgers ?

Back on planet earth, this was a big burger my son bragged about eating from Triple X.

He said it did not fit his mouth and sent me this picture.

I thought it looked gross and very ......very much smaller :)

Kids

They don't know what BIG is. :)

I wonder how much 178 pounds of ground beef costs?

Jen This hamburger sure won't be at McDonalds prices thats for sure
lol
If say 1 kilo = $4.58
2.2 pounds= 1 kilo
200 pounds = 90.0 kilos so
90.9 x $4.58 = 416.32
So this hamburger could cost $416. dollars. That is if I am doing the math right and thats a big "IF"

Akelamalu I always wonder what they do with such a hamburger once they are done with it.
I would hope they take it apart and sell it piece by piece in smaller buns.
