Snow men

While strawberries and roses still grow where I live,
the mountains are full of snow. It will soon be snow man making time.

Lovely piece to enjoy.

We looked at Christmas trees. The fake white one I wanted is over 200 dollars so forget that.

This year I would love to have a real tree. The pine smell is incredible to smell inside
the house but it really hurts me to watch the tree bleed, trying to survive.
How cruel to just cut it like that.
One day we will find. that trees have feelings too.

So this year I think we will go to Arts and get a real tree in a pot.
We will put lights on it, water it and keep it outside till Christmas and then bring it in
for a few days and then take it back outside.

It should be fine till spring and then we will plant it outside.

Until then check site this out:

I think its a wonderful way to get the best out of the pumpkin and I have so many seeds to plant now too or to dry and eat since we like seeds.

The ski slopes around here are either already open or are making snow. We've been thinking about getting a new artificial tree, but the prices have discouraged us as well.

George I have two aleady but its not like having a real tree. But I hate it when they shrivel and bleed.
It's like they want to live.

We always get a live tree that we can plant after Christmas.
Some them have died but most of them have lived.

We have the same here, flowers are still blooming while they announce frost ! I think we won't have any autumn this year it will become winter right away. I don't like to think about Christmas yet when flowers are still blooming, lol !
