Keep your eye on Waukesha, Wisconsin ......Its biggest employer just moved

out. I got this in an email so I'm passing it on.

General Electric is planning to move its 115-year-old X-ray division from
Waukesha, Wis., to Beijing . In addition to moving the headquarters, the
company will invest $2 billion in China and train more than 65 engineers
and create six research centers. This is the same GE that made $5.1 billion

in the United States last year. but paid no taxes-the same company that
employs more people overseas than it does in the United States .

So let me get this straight. President Obama appointed GE CEO Chairman Jeff

Immelt to head his commission on job creation (job czar). Immelt is
supposed to help create jobs. I guess the President forgot to tell him in
which country he was supposed to be creating those jobs.

If this doesn't show you the total lack of leadership of this President, I
don't know what does. Soon, you all will understand that Obama has an
agenda, this socialist agenda is to remove the last super power from the
world. He is getting very close.

As stories go there was a funny one from Egypt.

An expat family living there had a women come in to cook, clean, and do laundry.

She worked very hard and after finishing one home would go to another.

Pay day, the employer asked her about her family and complimented her about how good a job she did.

One day the conversation came to her husband who always seemed unemployed.

So the employer asked the maid why her husband never worked while she worked so hard.

The maid replied:

" Oh my husband is very intelligent and educated so he has a very hard time finding a job."

"Really." replied the employer." Did he finish going to school?

"Oh yes, he did" replied the maid proudly.

"He received his birth certificate you know."

Now this is a true story............... so I will leave it at that .

In previous bids to bring down airfare, or at least cater to Ryanair’s idea of what travellers want, the airline has floated the idea of flying with just one pilot per flight, adopting standing-room only trips and even child-free flights, which Ryanair says are coming this fall.

Compare this to Air Canada flights from Vancouver - Calgary = 365.00 Canadian or 357.00 US

for a short flight having less toilets might be ok but now we're trippin with one pilot and standing room trips. Planes are already sardine cans.

and no children is clearly discrimination. lol

Teachers Strike -

A beginning of a school year and WHAM!
Teachers threatening a strike, first by stopping administrative work.

I really feel what the BC teachers are doing right now is not right.
Do they not see what is happening in the world?
It is important to keep the cost of living low so man does not need to beg for a home or food.
Starving students do not learn.

The kids will learn, graduate and then what.......stand in unemployment lines?
There are only so many teacher jobs and coffee shops and then once people feel they can't afford kids, these jobs will close down as well.

Kids will learn from home, through computers and with on line tutors.
If teachers think 35 students per class is too much, one teacher could have as many as 5000 on line students.

From personal experience, I know a child can learn in 5 months, what elementary schools take 2 years to teach. At this rate, kids have time to begin school later, giving them more play or child time, and finishing elementary school much sooner than expected.

The system is not working for many people and is in danger of all coming apart.
Computers are taking away many peoples jobs today, needed to pay the bills and taxes which keep rising.

Pretty soon kids will have a chip installed into their brain and become nuclear physicists
in grade school. This will leave them the rest of their lives to produce or discover more knowledge.
They will be able to retire at 21 years of age if they wanted to lol

Come to think of it, paraplegics may also have a chip installed in the area where the nerve endings were cut and have them stimulated to receive and send messages from the brain to the body, resulting in living a normal life. Anything is possible today but this sort of thing results in more caregiver and nursing jobs being eliminated.

I think when you have a job in bad times, you are lucky.
There is a time when asking for more, is just tipping the bucket over and may get you less.
Just sayin.

It might be just Unions trying to show they are still useful but they don't have the clout they used to have. They make matters worse by creating more stress on families who do not need any more.

A cowboy named Bud was overseeing his herd in a remote mountainous pasture in British Columbia when suddenly a brand-new BMW advanced toward him out of a cloud of dust.

The young man then opens the digital photo in Adobe Photoshop and exports it to an image processing facility in Hamburg, Germany .

Within seconds, he receives an email on his Palm Pilot that the image has been processed and the data stored. He then accesses an MS-SQL database through an ODBC connected Excel spreadsheet with email on his Blackberry and, after a few minutes, receives a response.

Finally, he prints out a full-color, 150-page report on his hi-tech, miniaturized HP LaserJet printer, turns to the cowboy and says, "You have exactly 1,586 cows and calves."

"That's right. Well, I guess you can take one of my calves," says Bud.

He watches the young man select one of the animals and looks on with amusement as the young man stuffs it into the trunk of his car.

Then Bud says to the young man, "Hey, if I can tell you exactly what your business is, will you give me back my calf?"

The young man thinks about it for a second and then says, "Okay, why not?"

"You're a Member of Parliament from Ottawa ", says Bud.

"Wow! That's correct," says the yuppie, "but how did you guess that?"

"No guessing required." answered the cowboy. "You showed up here even though nobody called you; you want to get paid for an answer I already knew, to a question I never asked. You used millions of dollars worth of equipment bought with taxpayers dollars trying to show me how much smarter than me you are; and you don't know a thing about how working people make a living - or about cows, for that matter.

This is a herd of sheep. .......

Now give me back my dog.

Variety in Orchids Food for Thought

I love orchids and Singapore grew them every where.
All colors. I don't think one household missed owning a few.
People just knew how to behave with these flowers and one shouldn't be surprised as the Orchid is Singapores' National Flower.

The people love flowers and they also keep cages with different singing birds.
They bring them to a certain place to receive prizes for the best singing bird and tourists walk in between them admiring the different species. The birds look especially pretty sitting between so many trees full of blossoms.

British Columbia also loves Orchids and we can see plenty in Richmond where many Chinese live.
It is nice when we see competition between people for things.

In Canada this will soon be a thing of the past as corporations take everything over for global production. This will mean the people will not enjoy the things they grow and prices and land will belong to powerful international companies over which we have no control.
They don't want to talk about their business and therefore service will also be a thing of the past.

No control means they will plunder land for their businesses leaving nothing for people to grow food on and thus limiting the quality of the food we eat to what they produce and how they produce it, tasteless and full of chemicals.

People will then die in hordes if a mistake is made as for example in the olden days when wheat was affected and made people crazy. But in these times it was localized as opposed to today where people could die globally.
Jesse Ventura's Conspiracy Theories don't seem so far fetched after all.

We see this happening with the beef , gas , hydro and pharmaceutical corporations as they go global.
The companies are so powerful, even governments have no control over them.
They are efficient cold and calculating, instruments, without a soul.

They require money to buy their products but they take away more and more jobs, produce less and less variety, promote global warming through the gross amount they produce of any one thing and buy off all the land which is plundered and abused to produce the most.

Our majestic Canada will soon be a thing of the past as will every other place in the world unless people stand up and begin to scream to their governments to disallow huge mergers of corporations and help the small farmers to survive, so varieties of beef and grain exist to keep the prices low as well as jobs for people to make a living off of.
This applies to utilities as well.
Nothing is good when you sell out. It hurts everyone.
Variety is good.
Mass Production is not.

Grow your own food for thought and add a few orchids and cabbages while you are at it.
Once stores see you don't buy from them, they will not buy from corporations but from local small producers. Scream to your MLA's and tell them to stop whining and produce solutions to these problems or not take a job away from someone who can do something.

World Without Poverty - Miracle.

This graph is from 2003 but it clearly shows how imbalanced the world is and why organizations like Al Quaida can recruit suicide bombers. People who have nothing to live for, decide they should make their lives useful to someone else they love. They do not see Islam as a creator of needs, poverty and suffering.

This is why many people in India also donate their organs to the rich who need them. They have families to feed.

It doesn't make it right .

In a free world, people have a right to do these things but in a free world, they also have a right to live with self respect, to work and to enjoy their families and life. Living, seeing breathing touching eating are all pleasures given to us to enjoy. Along with them come emotions feelings which make us either enjoy or suffer but those can be controlled. No one needs to suffer.

Instead pf enjoying, people are all on the street yelling, screaming, which means they have nothing, to keep them busy. A working man has no time to do these things .

Why should not the world involve itself to help such people free themselves so they can live productive lives? Why should their lives be controlled by those with ill will to wards their personal beings?

If one was to conclude, that all poor people who lack a will to live, were going to join a self destructive group, then one could also begin to assume, that it is ok to destroy them before they can destroy others, with a will to live to enjoy life.

Life is there to enjoy and it is not a sin to enjoy.

We have a case right now in Canada where a man is fighting not to be deported but why should he not be? If he is a security risk. If he has ill will towards other peoples lives. If he is associated with terror groups, why should any one risk his own life helping to save him?

It makes it all alright then doesn't it, to give him up to a country with no human rights?

It is the same in medicine in our countries ........with human rights.

I remember one time when my grandmother was very ill with cancer.

They kept her on a ventilator for a long time and students would come in at night, when no one was there, and go down this ventilator with tools to obtains lung samples etc...thus also torturing her more and stopping air flow. Family would come in the morning, to find her eyes rolling around in her head.

They were quick to tell the family she was dying and that they did all they could do.They were quick to tell us, that they asked her and she told them she wanted to die so we should unplug her because it was merciful and because it was her will.

No family member saw or heard her ask and even if she did, being tortured like this, would make anyone want to die but it doesn't mean it is so. It just means to be forced to suffer, is not a life.

A good samaritan , told the family what they were doing to her each night which made her a take a turn for the worst and we were astonished and stood up and made a stink.

Well, she died twice the next night but she had a doctor ordered to sit beside her to revive her, because they knew what they had done and what an autopsy would reveal .

This resulted in a miracle of her getting well and going home to live another 10 years.

Miracles do happen and right now the Middle East needs a miracle. People should not listen when someone tells them you have nothing to lose but your life especially when they are the cause of the suffering.

People have to fight to live. Life is a gift and should not be thrown back into God's face. This would be viewed as an insult and I don't see anyone getting rewarded for giving or taking a life this way.

A world without poverty would be a miracle. Is man capable of it?

Why not? He's done so many unheard of things already but why not share the good fortune with others instead of building more outlandish buildings, very few will use. Would not this bring peace to the world?

Instead the wealth makers hoard and promote war and scandal to hoard more.

This is what they do and no one should listen.

WHY ME?

We all have such days when we ask ourselves this question.

We like to lay blame on others for our troubles instead of seeing the situation for what it is.

I never read Job and came across it and said to myself : "Yes. This sounds right."

So here is Job's Story.

Job 1 (New International Version)

Job 1

Prologue

¹ In the land of Uz there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil. ² He had seven sons and three daughters, ³ and he owned seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen and five hundred donkeys, and had a large number of servants. He was the greatest man among all the people of the East.

⁴ His sons used to take turns holding feasts in their homes, and they would invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them. ⁵ When a period of feasting had run its course, Job would send and have them purified. Depressed?

I was depressed last night so I called Lifeline

different countries So I thought this was very funny. lol
