I got pictures from Christina Lake and told everyone, this is such a beautiful place.
Today we found out, a woman there, was feeding dog food to bears, by her place deep in the woods, to keep people away from her marijuana grow op.
The police went to check on the bear problem and found it loll
So she is arrested and now they are worried about bears becoming aggressive because they are not going to be fed by her
They may have to shoot them. They say maybe at the trial she will say she had the grow op to get money to feed the bears. The bears are docile and happy and the police were laughing.
Bears are misunderstood. They just say: "Feed me." loll

This is a beautiful lake, although I imagine the bears are trying to find someone new to feed them.
What a beautiful place. The woman feeding the bears could result in problems for others now she's not there. :0
The lake is gorgeous. How ridiculous of the police to arrest this bear friendly woman for a few plants of marijuana ! It's so stupid, tabac is more dangerous. A little fine would be enough, just because of the law, lol !
Poor bears, would be a crime to shoot them ! I think that would cause a riot here !
George - That is a problem . They may head for other peoples homes or camping grounds and they may take them far away but chances are they will return If they do it three times they might shoot them.
Akelamalu - Yes I saw one bear cross my path on the highway. He was long and lanky and he jumped up a slope 6 feet high, like nothing. The claws are long and the paws huge.
I don't think man can deal with something that big and powerful.
Gattina - we have too many grow ops here in BC and so much work has been done to stop drunk drivers only to be replaced by drivers riding high.
Marijuana changes brain cells and it is important to keep a sane society in a free world or lose your free world. Our society is supposed to be a thinking society.
Freedom is good insofar as it doesn't hurt other people and their rights.
It is indeed a beautiful lake. So peaceful.
I am happy to be back "online" and will enjoy your beautiful stories.
Thanks Peter!
