Edible Cakes....artistic but ...for real...

ALL these cakes are completely edible cakes made by a lady in Russia . Unbelievable! and they are said to taste as good as they look...pleasing to the eye...and a delight to the taste buds....Yummy

All you see below are cakes that can be eaten without any part of it left out. No plastics or any other artificial stuff is being used--everything is made of natural ingredients. All the cakes by Zhanna from St. Petersburg .

Oh my goodness, the detail in these! Works of art really... I would be hard pressed to want to eat it later, but alas, I would eventually cave in... cuz its cake after all!

These cakes are entirely too beautiful to eat. I wonder how long it takes her to make one of these beauties?

Unbelievable. They surely must freeze them or something to keep the art?

She must have done some kind of marzipan that she could color and roll out into sheets.
and then have then take on the shapes she needed. The writing is another thing. That would require a plastic sheet cut out with the exact replica and style of lettering and then the same color as the original work rolled over it with icing thus filling in the letters.

No matter how you look at it, it certainly does look like an awful lot of work went into each project.

And then under the top portion is the actual cake.lol
