Play Time

This was a nice easy evening hat to make and looks very nice in one color but if you wanted to make it in different colors, it would be so easy to do.

I reinforced the ears inside the hat to make it double and thicker, by sewing inserts.
The pattern is unisex so can be worn by both men and women.
I made the front part longer than the pattern suggested.

At Walmart I always check up the puzzle section and couldn't believe this buy.
4 x 1000 piece puzzles for 5 dollars.
They are great to take for those cabin by the lake week ends or as family night
together times, or for those school Bingo night donations
or you can split them apart for Birthday presents.
They help seniors keep their minds sharp too and develop young minds.
I enjoy doing them because I glue them onto a poster board. Some of them are beautiful
like the one in the left hand bottom corner of the train  and the top right corner has a cat in it but you can't see it for the sticker.

I'll keep it packaged for now till I finish doing the other ones I have. lol

Today I believe is Womans International Day
If any one is interested :)

Hi There, Thank you for visiting my new Photo Blog.. I hope you will return. I will probably post them on Wednesdays.

I enjoyed your post.. My family (when my 3 sons were younger) always took puzzles when we went to the mountains during Christmas each year. Everyone participated.. SO much fun..

Love the hat also. Looks so WARM...

Hey Girlie, I LOVE reading your posts and I LOVE doing puzzles and I will be 45 yrs. old April 15th, I know TAX DAY, LOL. No one can forget my Birthday, LOL. Even at my age I LOVE doing puzzles and my husband of 23 yrs helps.
When are 2 sons were young we would do puzzles on the back deck and then wehn they got hot they jumped in the pool and played and cooled off then came out and did more of their puzzles. I would have a poster board and then we would glue it to the poster board and hang it up stairs in the bedrooms.
The still have a few up that they still love and I would date it and put their age.
They are 21 and 18 now but I took pictures of them doing the puzzles because I scrapbook and boy I love to scrapbook.
Thank you also for ALWAYS making the sweetest comments on my blog. I always wait to see if you comment.
You are so sweet and kind hearted.
Thanks for bringing back GREAT memories for me when our sons were younger.
Big Hugs,
Tricia XO

Adam - Making your own is fun I could never do that but the regular ones arent that hard.
The first thing you do is put the colors together. Blue with blue that kind of thing and then begin and do them in sections.

Well your house is a home and I am so glad to hear you do the same thing with the puzzles I do.
Some of them are too beautiful to scrumple and and put away into a box again.
Hanging them sounds like a the next step to me.
