Zipidee Survival

When I was a kid I got a kick out of the old french people. They were so much fun to be around
and always had their own way of doing things.
They were survivors and you could smell the couriers de bois
blood in them.

I could relate to this young man so  I put his you tube - Hobo stove on my blog.
It requires a big tomato can or coffee can.

I always think about survival and kits, to keep a bag ready for such an occasion to just pick up and run.
However it is always spoiled cause people know I have it and raid it.
This is how you lose your independence,
Your way of life
Your way of thinking,
when irresponsible people surround you,who laugh at you for being a little crazy, and who don't care but are the first to cry when they are stuck and are totally unprepared to know what to do next, to survive.

A survival kit doesn't take up much space in a car but it is always there to pick up fast and run.
Living in an earthquake prone zone where anything can happen, any time who knows?
If it can't help you, it might some one else.

Having a hobo stove is always a good idea. You can fill it with things in a back pack
and top it off with a small pot you don't use at home or empty pop cans you can fill with things like:

fishing hooks vaseline fishing line sinker chlorine tablets for water purification, matches lighter sulfur powder
pain killers, allergy ointment, bandages, cotton, alcohol, salt and sugar for dehydration razor blades, mirror, alcohol, magnifying glass, knife big trash bag for shelter and small one for water collection, scissors, 20 meter parachute rope, lint.needle and thread, duct tape,
forks spoons knives.soap toilet paper.candles.vitamins.
Add a few metal skewers and you can boil anything and have all these other things with you too to help you survive a few days.
The tops from metal cans you can cut zig zag and they make for great tips for spear fishing and also as cutting tools.

Before you leave make sure to add plastic zip lock bags of some dry food like noodles, porridge, rice, lipton soup, tea, coffee granola bars in zip lock bags and a tarp and always keep blankets in the car and a small tent.It all helps for a quick get away if tragedy strikes.
I don't keep batteries cause they spoil over time but a solar lamp would  be great.or solar panels on a back pack you wear with connections to a light bulb or something else.

Making toys like dolls filled with rice and beans your kids can play with is good too.
Nothing like an edible doll your kid loves to carry. lol
Keeping feet warm, so socks are important.
Could make for nice little worm dolls.and black gloves can turn into stuffed spiders lol
Even child size can be used to keep hands warm.
These are basic survival things to have and keep together in a container or back pack.
Remember, you need at least 7 days for help to reach you and during that time you need to stay strong and warm.

Have a Zipidee day folks

Nutty Cancer.

http://ourlittlehazelnut.blogspot.ca/2013/07/pizza-bonanza.html

This is a blog about a little girl suffering from Cancer.
I found one of the comments interesting which explained how a cancer cure
could happen. Cancer is a virus and one that doesn't even require
oxygen to survive. It is important though to keep ones immune system strong
to fight it.
It's hard to fight when the system is weak and eventually people give up
just when they need to stay strong.
This is where you separate the men from the boys as they say.
This is when the real fight begins.

I have a blogger Westra going through this battle right now and her story
breaks my heart, (as do many others)
so I keep reading and looking to see if I can come across anything which might help her.
Sometimes things pop out at you and a comment here did.
Doesn't hurt to try if it can help. It might not, but a boosted immune system sure
sounds good to me.
My grand mother kept herself alive for a long time with cabbage garlic walnuts and onions.
(and a little Port)lol
She got her first colon cancer at 45 and died just a month short of 90.
This commentator said what I always believed in my heart so reading it doesn't hurt.
There was one commentator who didn't believe this but others following him said
offering hope is a good thing. You just never know.
Always pays to knock on doors and ask.

Have yourself a great Zipidee day!!!

A Zipidee Thought

The weather is damp and wet today but sunny.

Have a Zipidee day.

A vain person named Vanity, merits the name.
A cruel Person named Cruella, merits the name
A Beautiful person named Beauty, merits the name....

but then you get into names like Zeus, Appolo, Angel....
Zeus is a god so how does a person named Zeus,
 merit the name?
How a does  person named Angel, merit the name?
A person named Nipper who nips, merits the name
and a person that zips, merits the name Zipidee.

Old poets.......great thinkers.

Obedience, a Mother of Success

Every year I look forward to driving cross country.
Lately I haven't been doing it due to the gas prices.

I go through the same towns, stop at the same hotels,
eat in the same restaurants and Tim Hortons is glad to supply you
with a large thermos of coffee, for the price of a cup.
I love that place.

Being able to do things like this, allows one to see change.
Some places change a lot but it is the same every year.
Some farmers fields are flooded ,with people riding motor boats over it in spring
and coming back, you see these lush fields ready to be harvested and you wonder
how time flew so fast.

Some places police are everywhere looking for drugs especially camp grounds.Once
they looked at my tired sun struck, red eyes, and thought I was one of these people and said:
We'll get you next time lol
I told them good naturely : Good Luck. lol
Then they see  that the car is from out of town....Way out of town, packed and full of kids and dogs.

You go through towns where you know a policeman will stand waiting for cars to go 5 km over the
30kmph speed limit at 6 am (speed trap) and yup sure enough. There he is, still sitting there.lol

And then you know where it is safe to follow the big daddies as they pick up speed but they go so fast they disappear from sight quite quickly. It always impresses you. In these area you see moose lying belly up by road sides with half of their rib cages ripped off. Easy to know what happened.

You know where the best sunsets are and the best sun rises, where the fields are covered in clover and sunflowers. You know where the ground hogs and coyotes sit together watching the cows. You know where the best souvenirs and honey are. You know bear country and you always see one brave one crossing the highway.
You see the same people and you always leave breathing deep, knowing and loving your country.

You feel the words true north strong and free an exhilarating experience.

But sadness overcomes you seeing towns change from towns of trust, into towns of suspicion.

You pass through many places full of whispering pines and stop at one of them where absolutely
nothing changes ever, for over 40 years plus. No one locks any doors in such God fearing, sleepy communities.
You find the same bed, mattress, cups, pots, fridge, old fashioned stove, curtains .Same old Swiss designed saunas, same calm lake which looks more like an ocean, wide and clear.

It's as though you have always lived here and  never left and the owners are friendly, inviting, as though
they have known you since the day you were born.

I remember the streets I lived on, which had the same kind of feeling but with new people coming in all the time, things change, locks go up and people stop trusting and talking.
What's the point?

Ottawa, used to be one our most favourite places to stop, so I always want to do it for the kids to see where our Prime Minister works and where it all happens.
We'd always go to see the tulips in Spring and skate on the Rideau Canal in winter.
It was always such a friendly, polite place and made you feel honored to be a Canadian.

All this has changed since we brought in so many new immigrants who only want to complain, demonstrate, provoke unrest and war. They ran away so as not to die and now they want some one else to die in their place, IN THEIR COUNTRY.

The RCMP used to be nice, much nicer than local police forces and yet now they became firm, unfriendly and trust no one . You see distinctly, the difference between when a Christian God of freedom was in charge, and today when man thinks he can replace him.

The old poets and their words of wisdom are now forgotten. Kids do not relate any more to the old
books as so many new ones have popped up, as well as Kindle, computer games and iphones which take up most of their time centered mostly on speed.lol Things like morals ethics and values are trampled on.
In fact, if you have any, this is where you get bullied, pushed and threatened. City streets have become unsafe.

But ............I still like the feel of an old book.It takes you back and introduces you to the old world as it was so its not forgotten.
I like the coziness of being able to sit with your child on a couch, covered by a hand made blanket, hugging and sharing the pages of a book, knowing words and pictures which
mean a great deal to inquisitive eyes.
It was a nourishing, quiet, calm, experience, which developed a kind and  loving human being.
The library experience is in itself a positive thing. Kids love to touch all these books and there is always someone there  for story time.

One could say yes Obedience is a Mother of Success as long as rights exist to question it ,so learning takes place.
Obedience promotes safety and nourishes relationships with those who love you.
Obedience to the 10 Commandments, simplifies your life so there is less to worry about and more to love.

Oh............and as you can see, my strawberries are still flowering in September.

Happy Sunday.

In Todays' World

God's most lordly gift to man
is decency of mind and
hope instead of despair.
------------------------------------------------
This morning I woke up early to a screeching black bird.
It would not stop so I got up to see what was the matter.
The dogs went out as well as this was most disconcerting for them.

It went on for a while longer and stopped when the dogs went outside to pee.
What ever was out there must have  moved on.
Something comes every day  to raid my tomato plants .
It ate three ripe tomatoes before I got to them.
I would love to catch it in the act. I know as long as that black bird is out there, all I have to do is pay
attention to it and it will tell me when something is trying to enter the yard.

So then I looked over my plants and got them closer to the door to take inside.
Have to think about finding a long narrow table to put them on where they
can receive some sunlight. This way it will also be convenient to water them all at the same time and place with out forgetting one.

I also ate a  leaf from my oregano plant. Every leaf tastes so fresh and the oil from it
remains in your mouth the whole day.As it is an antibacterial plant I think being able to pluck
a leaf or two a day is good for you.

Well then I decided to make the coffee, boil some eggs for my beloved and watched a movie while
busying myself with more crochet flowers. I have three colors now. I need to make 12 more of the red ones.
Then I will try to find two more colors and make 32 flowers each of these before turning them into squares
to attach together for an afghan.or small blanky.
------------------------------------------------------
G. Galloway on you tube, speaks of an unspeakable conspiracy going on right now between Obama /Al Quaeda etc... Another video shows Galloway destroying a Jewish guy, saying Britain had no right to give  Israel to the Jews. Britain was part of the UN. It was not her decision.
The thing is, The Jews and the Arabs lived in this area
for ever. I don't think you can say one or the other owned this part of the world and if it wasn't for radical groups stirring up trouble, they would be living together nicely to this day.
Personally I feel Israel should be International.
Every one has an interest to go there to see history, to pray and seek answers.

If you want to support a people to  get them a country  , I would rather you support a people more friendly to the world,
that doesn't cut off hands and feet and imposes sharia law, stones, and buys and sells blonde women
and children they steal for sex, which they do up until today. This is unforgivable in todays' world and the religion demands conforming to these ideas as no one but a muslim is considered human. The rest can either die or become slaves.

Islam is full of unspeakable atrocities and they do everything under cover of the mob and refuse  to stop.

I will never forget the time in Iraq when they burned and hanged the body of a US soldier and then dragged his charred body through the street. It left a lasting impression. It is hard to feel compassion for any people who could do something like this to anyone today, when so many countries have to obey international laws on humanity. It basically degrades any legitimacy in this religion because of what it is capable of doing.

I got off the plane in Kuwait to walk up a cold empty mousoleam hallway
to pee in a hole in the floor at the other end and walk back, and I was scared they would find a reason I couldn't board the plane again by the way the soldiers and border inspectors leered at me.
I was with my son and husband and this Italian ship captain, who told me not to get off and
stupid me said, what can happen?
So he got off too to make sure to go with us, risking his own safety.

We were surrounded by goonish, cigarrette smoking soldiers with machine guns who were standing there
looking for trouble and they took my purse apart which was full of crackers because my son was sleeping through meals and so I wanted to have a few things for when he got up. Traveling with kids is never easy and you always end up being the bag lady.lol

Why they land planes in dangerous, unfriendly places and why the captain of the plane allowed people to get off, I will never know to this day. Just to think they could have used me to create an International incident still leaves me with shudders. I would have had to say good bye to my family that day because they would have had their fun and it would have resulted in my demise. That day I could say my Christian God was with me.
An angel sat on my shoulder and told these guys, don't even go there.
Every one stood so quiet, you could hear a pin drop.

You will never convince me today, that giving Jews a home was a mistake.
I remember kids from Canada, went to build this country during their summer vacations and turned desert land into land that could be cultivated and enjoyed not only by the Jews but by the world.

The Jews never said Arabs were not welcome. The UN just said the country was going to be called Israel and it was the Arabs who refused to accept this.

We need to accept that good people, one day, made the right decision.

In history, Israel is not the only country that came to be this way. With Muslims it is their way or no way.
Living in their world, is a step back.

This Galloway fella lost his labor party and might have a beef with England, so everything he says has to be taken with a grain of salt. In a sense the Arabs have never stopped fighting. They look for any reason to fight
forming groups, who also go into other countries to kill, maim and in still fear into defence less victims especially children.
Makes Islam sound more like Islam is fear and intolerance, rather than Islam is Peace.

In University we had Arabic foreign students and they were always upset and angry or kept laughing like someone from an insane asylum. I made friends with a lovely girl who ended up being an Arabic Princess
She told me many things of what went on there and how Arabs feared Arabs. Now that I think about it, she probably wanted to escape too and wasn't too comfortable living under such terrible restrictions and conditions.
For obvious reasons I will not mention from which country she came from.

Have a Zipidee day and remember One doesn't have to live a life in confusion and despair .
One can overshadow darkness with the light, just as rays of sunshine do through darks clouds.

Kilroy Was Here Story

I got this email and thought I'd share who kilroy was.
Havent seen this little guy in a while.

He is engraved in stone in the National War Memorial in Washington, DC- back in a small alcove where very few people have seen it. For the WWII generation, this will bring back memories. For you younger folks, it's a bit of trivia that is a part of our American history. Anyone born in 1913 to about 1950, is familiar with Kilroy. No one knew why he was so well known-but everybody seemed to get into it.  So who was Kilroy?
Shangrala's Kilroy Was
                                                          Here
In 1946 the American Transit Association, through its radio program, "Speak to America ," sponsored a nationwide contest to find the real Kilroy, offering a prize of a real trolley car to the person who could prove himself to be the genuine article. Almost 40 men stepped forward to make that claim, but only James Kilroy from Halifax, Massachusetts, had evidence of his identity.
Shangrala's Kilroy Was
                                                          Here
'Kilroy' was a 46-year old shipyard worker during the war who worked as a checker at the Fore River Shipyard in Quincy. His job was to go around & check on the number of rivets completed. Riveters were on piecework  & got paid by the rivet. He would count a block of rivets & put a check mark in semi-waxed lumber chalk, so the rivets wouldn't be counted twice. When Kilroy went off duty, the riveters would erase the mark.  Later on, an off-shift inspector would come through & count the rivets a second time, resulting in double pay for the riveters.
Shangrala's Kilroy Was
                                                          Here
One day Kilroy's boss called him into his office. The foreman was upset about all the wages being paid to riveters, & asked him to investigate. It was then he realized what had been going on. The tight spaces he had to crawl in to check the rivets didn't lend themselves to lugging around a paint can & brush, so Kilroy decided to stick with the waxy chalk. He continued to put his check mark on each job he inspected, but added 'KILROY WAS HERE' in king-sized letters next to the check,& eventually added the sketch of the chap with the long nose peering over the fence & that became part of the Kilroy message.
Shangrala's Kilroy Was
                                                          Here
Once he did that, the riveters stopped trying to wipe away his marks. Ordinarily the rivets & chalk marks would have been covered up with paint. With the war on, however, ships were leaving the Quincy Yard so fast that there wasn't time to paint them. As a result, Kilroy's inspection "trademark" was seen by thousands of servicemen who boarded the troopships the yard produced.
Shangrala's Kilroy Was
                                                          Here
His message apparently rang a bell with the servicemen, because they picked it up & spread it all over Europe & the South Pacific.
Shangrala's Kilroy Was
                                                          Here
Before war's end, "Kilroy" had been here, there, & every where on the long hauls to Berlin & Tokyo. To the troops outbound in those ships, however, he was a complete mystery; all they knew for sure was that someone named Kilroy had "been there first." As a joke, U.S. servicemen began placing the graffiti wherever they landed, claiming it was already there when they arrived.
Shangrala's Kilroy Was
                                                          Here
Kilroy became the U.S. super-GI who had always "already been" wherever GIs went. It became a challenge to place the logo in the most unlikely places imaginable (it is said to be atop Mt. Everest, the Statue of Liberty, the underside of the Arc de Triomphe, & even scrawled in the dust on the moon.
Shangrala's Kilroy Was
                                                          Here
As the war went on, the legend grew. Underwater demolition teams routinely sneaked ashore on Japanese-held islands in the Pacific to map the terrain for coming invasions by U.S. troops (& thus, presumably, were the first GI's there). On one occasion, however, they reported seeing enemy troops painting over the Kilroy logo!
Shangrala's Kilroy Was
                                                          Here
In 1945, an outhouse was built for the exclusive use of Roosevelt, Stalin, & Churchill at the Potsdam conference. Its' first occupant was Stalin, who emerged & asked his aide (in Russian), "Who is Kilroy?"
Shangrala's Kilroy Was
                                                          Here
To help prove his authenticity in 1946, James Kilroy brought along officials from the shipyard & some of the riveters. He won the trolley car, which he gave to his nine children as a Christmas gift & set it up as a playhouse in the Kilroy yard in Halifax, Massachusetts.
Shangrala's Kilroy Was
                                                          Here
And The Tradition Continues...
Shangrala's Kilroy Was
                                                          Here
EVEN Outside Osama Bin Laden's House!!!

Didn't check this with snopes so.......

ZIPIDEE's CIRCLE OF TRUST

PSSST!

Ok. Don't tell any one, but the ol guy is watchin the young guy.

The ol guy doesn't think this young guy should be in the circle of trust.

He's a little too toothy and has that sly cocky shady look to him.
So he sent his SDA (spider detective agency) to spin webs in his hair
so it's easier to keep track of him.
.
Smart choice. When do these detective guys ever comb their hair :0

But just to be on the safe side, that ear ring, is a powerful microchip
and sends signals to the satellite, so nothing escapes them.
They call it the evil seeing eye. It's so evil, when the sun shines, it becomes so brilliant
it's like looking at a real diamond.
(They don't have all the bugs out of it yet. Pray for rain. Except for Colorado)

Now if that don't work, there's that special ink, in the tattoo he's got on his butt.
(Beggers can't be choosers.) He's gotta take them shorts off sometime  and we all know bathrooms are all bugged.

A HA! !! I knew it. He's gone to the can.
Lets see what he's got there.
"I  luv     my    mummy."

I love my mummy???
Is he for real?
He has a mummy?
We must have missed something

Zipidee takes no chances.
As a secret fellow agent, he fast tracked and recommended a pretend girl friend for the toothy guy
before it's too late.
The ol guy seemed to like the idea.(the ol coot)

Little does Zipidee know the toothy guy is no fool either and has the goods on the ol guy too.
The ol guy needs his glasses and the toothy guy retrofitted them with a double lens video
for double the fun. Unfortunately for him, the ol guy just sits watching. Not much fun.
(sigh).
That girl better be good and marry the toothy guy so he wears the magnetic rings they'll exchange..
It's either that or the old guy has to show his true colors and become
Veronique, to entice the toothy guy to stick around and do the right thing.
(secret agents are good at this stuff)

But then the toothy guy will probably just turn into a dog.

On second thought......
Ahhhhh ..............NO.
I don't think so.
I sniff, track, bark, bite... but.... no kinky stuff.
Man..............What kind of  circle of trust thing is this anyway?

Moral of the story? Next time you see a sly looking toothy smily guy like this,
retrofited with jewelry and all this hair, know there is an ol guy somewhere
watching him. .........and he might look like Veronique. ..........or a dog.:)
Zipidee says.

Happy Friday and Enjoy your week end.
 Love this dog.
What a face !! hahahahaha

JOB APPLICATION - IT'S ALL RELATIVE

WELL.......... THE KIDS WILL LOVE HER.
mmmmm I don't know. Doesn't change diapers????

Who cares about germs eh?

CNN was discussing the Duma passing anti gay laws and
even to take their children away.
After Glastnost, families lost government support.
Parents don't have jobs, no money for food, and even to pay the rent is hard to do.
So alcoholic parents beat the kids and they run away.
(BY the way, they were also a country of 110 proof vodka and a lot of it.
Now they also passed laws to curb vodka sales that but no one reports this)
The government can't catch the kids and when they do, they run away.
They live by theft and trickery and even the odd job when they can find one
They seem to be nice kids from what we see on the net.
These kids are preyed upon on the street by
gay pedophiles.

CNN is interviewing the wrong people
Talk to the kids. Nice kids, and lost in a world they don't understand
and fear.
So for whatever reason Putin is passing these laws, I am sure Russian
social services has something to do with it.
I am not a fan of KGB but sometimes you have to ask better questions and talk
to the people who know the truth and not gay activists who are part of the problem.
Rather naughty of CNN.
Also when Putin says we are born equal, Yes, we are. We are a human race.
Just people.
We separate ourselves and create differences.
People are not born Catholic Jews Arabs black French , gay......
Society grabs them and begins to teach them who they are.

God just created a "human" race.

It's no different than us creating robots and calling it a robot race.
Then robots learn, receive input and begin to differentiate
through life experiences. If the experiences are good, then the robots are good.
If the experiences are bad, the robots become bad.
------------------------------------------------------

Today we went shopping. My husband finally is well enough to get out of bed but he is weak,
so he told me, you better drive. The streets were full of the worst drivers, obeying no street laws or speed limits. In between them is the public. Today we have a lot of hit and runs. People don't stop.
Why? Well the answer should be obvious. They are either on drugs or drunk.
We got to the parking lot. Managed to park the car, did the shopping. My husband got a haircut
and as he was loading the car, a woman banged a car and drove off almost hitting another car and pedestrians. The owner of the hit car got her license plate number and she saw my husband saw what happened and asked him for his contact number as a witness. I am sure the police and insurance will call.
They did last time when I was a witness to an accident.

Today people run over people in their cars and don't stop.

No one sees anything wrong with this picture?
No message sent here, as to why this happens?

Well Zipidee is the wrong goat to ask. He can't decide which person he should hire,
the doctor or the governess for his kids.

XOXOXOXOXOX

Bargain Shopping

Zipidee's gone shopping.

He's having a great day, except he's a little confused.

Typical man.

Every one knows bigger is better.
Bigger cars,
Bigger refrigerators
Bigger houses
Bigger Burgers
God knows bigger airplane seats.
Pay so much to sit in a sardine can
with no air.

Bigger government

But small sure looks attractive....... and sporty doesn't it?

Zipidee says  Jump up!

Zipidee says Wave your arms around .

Sit down!!

Zipidee didn't say that.

Pay attention!!
Looks like we're gonna have one of these Zipidee days again. ; p

R  U  READY!!!!?

1/2 cup sugar,3/4 cup butter, 1 egg ,1 cups milk, 5 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 3/4 cup butter,
3 cups flour, raisins.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter. Mix the egg and milk in a small bowl, and stir into flour mixture until moistened.Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead briefly. Roll dough out into a 1/2 inch thick round. Cut into 8 wedges, and place on the prepared baking sheet.Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.

and there you are, a big kitchen mess and 8 scones no one is going to eat in my house cause every one cooks what they like, or is never home to eat.

Kinda find it a waste of time to cook these days cause I can get scones for 1.25 in the store and at home
it costs me 5 dollars to make .
Most crafts you love doing , are the same way.

In Asia it pays to do them. I used to love flower arranging. It was a cheap and fun craft. You could make 5 elaborate arrangements for 25 dollars to give to people to enjoy. For 25 dollars you only make one here
and you can buy it ready made cheaper.

I  have clothes I keep to go out with but for every day stuff, I shop at Walmart. I can get a blouse and pants there for 5 dollars a piece on special. To buy material and thread to sew the same thing costs me 25 dollars.
If I smell gas on the socks, I don't buy them cause that's cancer.

I love to paint. The stores are full of paintings and you could find great stuff at garage sales , and flea markets
for 7 dollars with frame included.  Art stores are full of expensive mostly prints, no one seems to buy.
On line you also see people selling nice things without a frame for 12 dollars.

Hardly worth making a mess in the house you have to clean every day that collects, with the kind of kids today
who are not interested in anything you do at home. They just want money. So spending money is not something
they want you to do on things like craft work.

Love today is measured by how much money they can get from you. Presents.... if it doesn't include a car,an apartment, a house, a 10k diamond ring ...well... you are just cheap trash. School?  No need. Just look at our entertainment industry. The basketball heroes, baseball, foot ball . We all need to know what Branjelina is doing.
They are masters at their trade, no schooling and have important opinions we should listen to, cause the papers say so.

I have come to a place in my life where I have to sell, not make more stuff at home.
I have so many boxes full of stuff. I told my kids if you don't want it, keep it cause your kids will be interested to see their history. So, they bring friends home and my display cases are always short the next day, of an item.
So no display cases . Even boxes are not safe anymore. Why? Cause they can sell it and buy drugs or give presents to their family members . Socializing is not what it used to be.

And yet the TV set runs all day, charities beg for money to fill their own pockets (including churches),
people are promoting to legalize drugs to frye brains ((your kids), judges dont care teachers rape children. And no one seems to care that
kids emulate rap thugs instead of things like etiguette, fine dress and proper behaviour, until they go out and kill some one and this is just in my community. They all come from nice families so what goes wrong?

So this is something I can talk about because the job of adults, is to pull back the reins and say woah.
Slow down, back up and look at what you are doing.
Everything is NOT ok. Don't listen to pressure/peer/ liberal groups.
They have interests, that are not in your interest.

Some people know everything and don't need to read this blog and thats fine.
Other people need to see it in writing.
So I have the time to put it in writing.

I lived a life and saw many things, raised a family and have a means to compare and I love other peoples blogs to see what interests them. People are wonderful and I like to see it that way.

Once I went to a PTA meeting. The Principal was giving a speech and he said ..." like for example,
people are shy and they won't kiss the guy next to him".
I immediately stood up and said that's not true
I'll kiss any one. I began kissing people all around me and every one laughed and his speech was shot to hell.

I was trouble and he could see it but the parents, after the meeting, were all around me saying we need people like you. We need people to speak up and rein in a loose canon called liberalism.
Today the liberal party is destroyed because of what they did back then. It was wrong and it is still wrong.

I suddenly knew who I was. A liberal conservative lol Just like that.

Do you know that radicalism in any which way or form warrants a bullet? You say yes, someone gets upset and kills you. You say NO another someone gets upset and kills you. Or worse, they get into the computer, into  utilities, into identity fraud insurance fraud etc... Niagara Falls is a perfect place to study this problem but all provinces are exposed.
So people don't talk.
But if they all talked, people would listen. Today you don't keep anything on your name.
Criminals don't and this is why they always win.

So ask why? Why does this happen?

Today people in America fear speaking up. Why? Their jails are already full and there is no more room for more criminals let alone people with an opinion. There is so much to say about crime and prisons and especially
ask why this is so? People are not born bad.
Instead our papers are full of gay marriage. Who cares? It's wrong and we all know it's wrong. Australia and Putin say its wrong but we all have to be politically correct and damn the kids.
The only time it could be ok is if we reach a point, whereby no one in the world, is allowed to have children
cause children change everything. They need a family with a Mother and a Father.

No one likes the word NO but this is what the world is about. Our kids are suffering today because we don't teach them NO, so they grow up and are too sensitive to fight bullies and abusers and go out and kill themselves instead.
Make life a bit tougher for them, so they are prepared to live in a world where they will be beat up every day just like every one else is.
Unlike the country or world, parents actually love their kids. It's better they do the spanking than the world who will come in to open doors to kill them.

Take for example this Castro fellow. Look what he did . When it was over, it was over,
but it will never be over for the women he abused. Papers are full of this sort of thing.

Look at all this waste of time and money Obama is spending with Assaad.
Guess what he is saying?  NO! Why is he allowed to and no one else?
No one tells the government that the solution is simple.
Don't bring these people in. Eliminate this radical religion at home so people are free  to run marathons.
Keep your ships at home and get rid of all the nuclear power plants. Keep businesses close to peoples homes so they have jobs. If government doesn't do it, People should, in their communities. Start small and build up just like what the radical elements do. Pay attention to your life and your neighbors'.
The man has a Harvard degree and you mean to tell me he doesn't know what the right thing to do is?
Why are we talking to Putin?  For North America, it was always about 9/11. That's all.

So have yourself a Zipidee Day
I love kids .They will always be my life, till I die.
What's the excuse people have for not fighting for the things that count and mean more than anything else in the world.

------------------------------------
Woke up this mornin, feelin stiff and hot
So I went to the gym and pool to cool off

Met the gym teacher .

Came home with ruffled feathers
And I think I lost my hat

Oh zippidee doo dah zippidee yey

Crazy Zipidee Goat

Woke up this morning looking just like this goat, with a crazy smile on my face.
except with long straight hair
Had such a good sleep and woke up refreshed.
Couldn't stop saying GOOD MORNING!! to my fellow fur balls who saw me up and came running all tail wags. PEE TIME!!! Yey!!!
Dreamed I was dancing, doing acrobatics, stretches.....  moves I never thought I would make
again and was so impressed, I had no muscle aches from it all.

I woke up thinking:  Girl, you still have it in you.

Then I looked around and saw I was still in BC and not on a warm tropical island
drinking coconut juice.
There were no lions or tigers for me to play with and good thing too if I look like this goat
instead of the wild Amazonian Kitty I was as a kid.
Zena the Warrior Princess should be so lucky .
She turned the head of many a God.
Yup Quite an appetising dish this goat is . Well... ahem.... almost like me lol
Except there is more of me to love these days and Zipidee here, is a lean sprout.

Never the less, I feel a new page has been turned and maybe now I can move on and  be myself.
or close to it.
One can never be themselves once life takes over.
Always something coming back to slap you in the face.
Always someone who is unhappy
 Always someone who needs
Always someone to take care of
Always someone to play head games with you
Always someone

No wonder goats are fun to look at.
Would you know what he was thinking looking at that face?
Can you get mad at a face like that?
You dont  know if he is looking at you or if everything just goes
way over his head.
I could just give him a big hug if he would let me.
Too bad we can't have goats for pets.
I should use him as my mascot and start goating around.lol

Me , Tanyusha and the goat would have a great time together while Beau watched thinking
these guys are insane. He's taken up to bark at the door lately and then when we go to see what for,
quietly leaves, cause he really doesn't want to know what is on the other side.
The big goof. lol

Today is 9/11.
A sad memorial day for so many families of innocent victims who died because of a few insane people.
Imagine . It is unbelievable how uncaring they were and still are, to applaud what they see to be victory.
For who? For them? Blood of innocents makes them happy? And what about the Boston Marathon that ended badly? What about all those people without legs and arms. This makes God Happy??
Total madness.

My husband is slowly getting better Hopefully he will get out of bed today.
I was afraid he gave me the bug last night because I too began having chills and sweat but then I saw the fans were not working. I stopped them so as not to aggravate his condition.
Hopefully lady luck will be with me and I can avoid getting sick.
Well .. I will think about it another day

Today I am in too good a mood.

Zipidy do da ,Zipidy yey!
My oh my what a wonderful day
Plenty of sunshine headed my way
Zipidy doo da Zipidee yey!!

Hello Mr Blue bird
Good bye Mr Rain
I am Satisfaction
Cause its such a great great day!
Zipidee do dah zipidee yey
Plenty of sunshine headed my way!!

Love Truth and Faith

Faith is not a leap into the dark but a step into the light.

To have faith means to know when it comes to God
You can love him or hate him.

It won't make him or break him.

He is.

You can run but you can't hide because God is in you.
You are part of the program and therefore part of him.

In life, programs get glitches and viruses but none God can't fix
if you let him in to try.

And so it is with Faith that walks the one true road and follows the program.
Faith is not gullible, deceitful, unreasonable or blind.
It does not require pain and suffering.
If you walk slow and steady, with open eyes, most pitfalls in life
can be avoided.

This you can trust and believe to be true and have Faith in.

OH BLACK EYES

Oh how black your eyes have grown
Shading all the love you've known
Hidden behind lengthy lashes
To survive and  to live strong.

Oh how difficult, to find you,
Behind shadows on the wall
Hiding, so no one can can notice
The child in you, as  tear drops fall

And there,  in darkened corners,
Invisible, in the cloak you wear
Locking doors you say you open,
Through deceit and pretence , you're all alone.

Oh how deep and black those eyes are
In a face so pure and bright
Behind smiles that win all hearts now
One by one,  rose petals fall.

Oh black roses in the garden
Watch out for the fallen youth,
To survive, he hides wet tear drops,
He hides, the soul that makes him strong.
A Lady's Life

This poem is mostly about youth growing up too
fast in uncertainty.

The Arena

I love Saxaphone I am sure World man will enjoy
Wherever he is in Jordan.
---------------------------------------------------
In the arena, people cheered
Proper audience, to actors on the field
Proper music, to deafen ears
In the arena, people cheered

In the arena, people booed
They threw the apples, eggs and shoes
They jumped o'er rails, oh riot rang!
In the arena, people booed.

In life the days, they come and go
One day you cheer, one day you boo
One day you die, to live a new
In lifes' arena, not all's about you.

In lifes' arena you make a stand
You mostly sit and wring your hands,
You mostly chew a lip or two
As life goes on, by passing you.

When crowds go home
You step inside, this arena
So grand and wide
So deafening, your ears do ring
A true actor on the field

And smiling, bend low on hallowed ground,
Knowing that you won the crowd,
The ghosts of time, are there to see
In this arena, they all , know  me.
A Lady's Life

------------------------------------
We all stand in special arenas. Some perform better than others but it doesn't
 mean we can't all play.

All That Is True.

Blue green waters
Sea so clean
Another world unseen
As fishies swim ,they know not of  storms
They swim along on  paths so sworn

In trust we seek
In trust believe
In trust we think, because we feel.
In trust we walk
In trust we love
And when we die,
 In trust, we leave.

And when one day the sun peaks in
We see the waters blue and green
We see the deserts and the sand
We see  children holding hands

Hark! The angels sing to clouds
Voices in the wind, so loud,
And all rise, to tell the new
Trust in love and all that's true.

Survivors

What is man but  a survivor
In a challenged world, of pain and strife?
What is man, estranged by illness,
Of mind and soul, when devoid of love?

Struggles ,tragedies,hate and suffering
Imprint our hearts in tightened bands.
While dying souls, on a daily basis,
Cling to hope, found in Gods' hands.

What is a human but  a survivor,
Living at the devils' door?
We are survivors, reaching upwards,
Like drowning children,  in waves of storms.

We believe in dreams of glory
 Beyond the ugliness we see.
We tell ourselves each day a story
A journey of a thousand miles, begins with me.

If we survive the ugly planet,
Corrupted, soul less, cold and cruel,
It's because we trust the words we live on
That God exists and loves us all.

And thus , we are all survivors
Living by the devils' door.
Just so we can tell our children
Without the sun .......
 We still have stars.
A Lady's Life
=====================

I wonder if we would have any starlight without the sun?
How far would we have to look and would there be any light
coming from anywhere so far away, in other universes?

The Joke Was on Me.

This song could mean a lot of things to many people.
Nothing ever stays the same except a few things.
War, pain and suffering. According to Wiki
The song is mainly written and sung by Robin Gibb. "I Started a Joke" is supposedly about someone who has done or said something horribly wrong, which results in feelings of social alienation. Another interpretation is that the song is sung from the point of view of the devil. Prior to performing the song onstage, Barry Gibb has remarked that one interpretation of the song is regarding the devil.

Canada for example, is an experiment.
We are trying to see if different people can live together in a democracy.
Democracy works when there is "difference" while protecting
minority rights so people can live in dignity.Democracy is designed
for heterogeneous societies, not closed homogeneous societies.

In as much as we should not interfere in other countries' affairs, we must also be vigilant as a society,
not to let something good, slip through our fingers at home because of them.
The young do not know or understand until it happens to them and so it is up to the old to speak up.
Be careful what you wish for.
Today things happen fast.
The existence of nuclear power, means after it happens, it will be for ever.

It is easy to hide the truth today .
This thing going on right now with Putin. He sells arms to Syria, kept Snowden to irritate the US
so now Obama  went there to disagree and to talk with his activists .lol
Tit for tat and this is how things escalate.

Not going in a good way all this.

The Exotic Marigold Hotel

The Exotic Marigold Hotel This movie was on cable and movies on demand
On you tube we only get a trailer but enough to see what a good movie it is.
We watched it twice.

My husband still has a temperature on and off.
I am wondering now what this could all be.
Today germs can be soo bad.
Every time we think he licked it, it comes back at night.

The weather has cooled quite a bit and we had a second doozie of a thunder storm.
This is already a record. In some places it knocked out the TV satellite systems.
The dogs were all upset and trying to hide.
I went to the bathroom and the little dog followed me and hid behind the toilet bowl.
So I had to hold her and try to convince her it was nothing but a little noise.
They are not used to such weather with rain pelleting the roof so hard.
However it was a little scary.

I was sitting by the window with the computer and wondering if the lightning would dare hit through the window.
Apparently, a few days ago, we also had something called Sky Quakes here in BC.
We didn't hear them but apparently they are happening all around the world.
This is in Terrace, BC Aug. 29 2013

These sound to me like a train turning a corner on the rail tracks.

Funny cause now it looks like Obama is trying to start another war
which could end up to be something big.
Assaad is playing with the world and abusing his people like they always do and
Putin has problems in Russia and this is why he passed the anti gay laws.
Gay people are pedophiling children out there and many are out on the street
cause parents cannot support them and government can't collect them.
The powers that be see the US is in deep debt and the time is ripe to destroy America.

Kenny Rogers sang you have to know when to hold them and when to fold them
I think its time to fold em.

Today I tried sorting clothes and I made a few more flowers. I have 34 cream, 31 yellow and 5 red so far.Missing baby blue.Once I have all my colors, I have to turn them into squares adding another color.I was thinking either navy or black. Maybe even green would be nice. The squares then have to be attached together and what will be will be. Usually for a big blanket you require 240 squares. These won't be big squares so I won't expect anything too big and I am not in a rush to make it.If I make the color green to attach the flowers to, I can make leaves to go around the blanky.

Well as usual we have to trust in God that he will make the right decisions for this sorry race
of humans that we are.

Eau de Vie On Wellbrook Farm

Wellbrook Farm

We visited a blue berry farm which made wine.
It is located in Delta, BC
The owner is from South Africa. Lovely lady.
And who should we meet there but people from Quebec.
These Quebecers sure love their wine. lol

This wine, made from blue berries, tastes and smells sooooooo nice.
I couldn't resist buying the blueberry/ cranberry one and the blue berry one.
The raspberry is for chocolates, ice cream, cakes. It also tastes wonderful.
She said you can keep this wine for 2 years and drink it chilled.

It's a pretty nice farm and people come every day
to collect berries in their fields. I don't think you can buy wine like this
in stores. I almost hate to drink it now that it is home lol
I will wait for my son to get home so he can have a taste.

These llamas are my new friends. The beige one spat at my husband.
No account for taste. lol
Then he followed him so my husband could get a few good shots of him.
They are such beautiful creatures with huge brown eyes and long eyelashes.
They knew we were strangers and behaved accordingly.
I would have loved to hug one if they would have let me.
Too bad we can't keep them as pets.

Love Flowers

My first hibiscus flower. I am so elated!!
My Mom had a tree and it flowered all winter. Unlike this one, it had double petals.

Like this one.
The only bad thing is that it lasts only one day and wilts.
But it sure is nice to wake up to this.
Behind it is another bud. Can't wait to see it flower now.
This tree can grow up to 20 feet high. Ours only grew up to 5 feet
Enough for a living room. lol

You tube movie =  POWDER

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHh1108IRGU
This is a very nice movie about an albino boy.

You don't have to watch it here It is on the above link.

The Pakistani Major had grown increasingly anxious over rumors of an impending air strike from India.

"Khan," he ordered his aide-de-camp, "I want you to climb that mountain and report any signs of Indian military activity."

"Ok, Major," replied Khan.

He trudged up the mountain, and as soon as he crossed the ridge he saw a squadron of planes heading their way.

"There are many planes coming, Major," he promptly radioed back.

"Friends or enemies?" the Major demanded urgently.

Khan again lifted his binoculars to the sky.

"They're flying very closely together, Major," he replied. "I think they must be friends."
