According to the Horoscope, this year is the year of the Red Monkey.
Apart from going down town Vancouver, where they say a lot of security
will be hired so people could enjoy the fireworks,
tonight is a good night to enjoy at home .
Tonight is the time for Tarot cards and Horsoscope and predictions
for the New Year.
Tonight is the time for New Year resolutions and closing the page
to begin a new.
Dust yourself off and start again.
For most, it should be a very positive year to look forward to.
Hope you all have a nice drink ready. I am partying already with New Zealand
It's a whole day reserved for toasting countries as every one celebrates at different times.
We in BC are the last ones. Kinda makes us the Lonely West Coast doesnt it. lol
But New York Time Square is at 9pm and we will watch the big blue ball with enthusiasm.
We had a jolt like no other at 11:49 last night.
It was like a sonic boom!
Scared us out of our pants.
So unexpected.
They said 10,000 people could die in Vancouver
from a serious quake and the island could split in half.
Thankfully this time it was small but Princeton gets many
and Charlotte Island where you could buy a summer place for 19k.
I guess its good until it's gone.
Not a good sign for the new year. too many quakes
xoxoxo
This was an amazing part of history come to an end.
I have always admired Lee Quan Yew because he reminded me
of our own Mayor Jean Drapeau ,of Montreal, Quebec, who equally
loved his city and country.
Our Mayor once threatened to separate Montreal from Quebec if
Quebec ever tried to separate from Canada.
Lee Kuan Yew was surprised Malaysia let Singapore go.
He now was left alone to build Singapore
and what a job he did!
This Island state was the safest and best place to raise children.
It almost made you cry when coming back home, your children had to face
a culture of drugs, foul language, bullying, etc....
Some say the culture shock was in Asia at the time but coming back,
I found the culture shock was in North America, to see just how far down
the ladder people had fallen.
The poor, the homeless, the damaged souls, living under bridges,
in city street lanes....the drugs, alcoholism, people walking with wet pants,
having peed in them, people fighting with street lamps...
just not things one would see in Singapore during Lee Kuan Yews' time even at the thieves market lol
Lee Kuan Yew left a Legacy he can be proud of. He was Singapore.
If all the Mayors of cities and Premiers of Provinces and the Federal Government,
took the example of Lee Kuan Yew, we would have a strong country to be proud of.
Lee Kuan Yew did not follow political correctness, but what was correct.
Some of the issues Justin Trudeau was elected on, seems down right shameful
as Canada quietly falls from a country of the first world, into a country of the third world.
Yes, we are falling. Our leaders did not inspire our people do do what is correct and instead
we follow what is politically correct and this is nothing short of lies our Justin Trudeau's
wide open mouth keeps spewing every day and tells us that he will continue to keep his mouth
open.
One day the flies will fly in and choke him, since there can only be one truth.
Not political truth but truth and every one, deep inside know what that is.
We cannot succeed running a country on corrupt values, be they in government or business
or the banking system. Eventually it all comes to an end and then so many will fall
into an abyss which is called hell and pull every one else along with them.
In Canada, Justin won on the issue of fear. He manipulated vigilance into fear.
But fear is what inspired Lee Kuan Yew, because he loved his country.
Fear built a swamp into a wonder city people can now enjoy. Fear kept the people clean and pure.
Fear made the world turn around and pay attention to this little island.
Part two - the eulogies - are important to listen to since many called this Garden State, land of the orchid , The Lion City and a friendly dictatorship.
Order works but order is not supported by many in North America, who think freedom lies in drugs, abortions, assisted suicide, gay pride and contracts written to make sure the customer fails and can be extorted from, keeping him poor.
The aim of justice is to encourage people to trust and believe in a system , geared towards the benefit and enrichment of the people, not the destruction of the middle class.
There in lies the difference between giants of men and wannabees running for government, to gain a larger pension.

I made a total of 12 angels.
The two red ones are the latest and these are all going on the tree.
I'd like the pink and beige one to be a tree topper She had the most work done on her.
One would use toilet paper centers to place over the top and the angel over.
As candle covers , one would again use the center of the toilet rolls to place 3-4 candles inside.
Being held tight they would then allow the angel to sit over them.
These angels are so much fun to make.
This year we see so much of Merry Christmas as opposed to Happy Holidays and
Christmas carolers .
May you all have a wonderful safe Christmas.!!!
xoxoxoxo
Such a wonderful singer.
Loved her.
Laura Branigan died in 2004 from a brain aneurism.
I was wondering why all of a sudden she disappeared.
Went to a hot spring this week end. The hot water sure was nice
to soak in.
Stores were not too over crowded. The more they improve malls,
the more rent they charge and the higher the prices for shopping there.
Slippers which generally cost 39.-45.00 now cost 98.00
Then they wonder why Walmart does so well. lol
Most stores shocked me out of there.
Metro town had much better prices.
My son got his niece a few things from Frost. This is a nice story
about a Princess turning everything she touched to ice.
I had no idea it was so popular but then I had boys and I'd be
looking at Star Wars lol
Years go by but some things just stay popular through generations.
It was nice to spend time with my son. The day was his treat and he
was in a wonderful mood and the winner was me for most of the day. lol
Life goes in waves. Some waves are warm graceful waves
where you feel wrapped in silky satin.
Others are waves that make you sputter and choke as they
are swift and irregular not giving you a chance to take a breath..
Then you have the bashing thrashing waves that really take you through
the wringer. If they cast you ashore still alive, consider yourself lucky.
Poseiden had pity on you.
Life is always to be accepted for what it is.
It is in charge and it is in control and it decides when it is time to move forward.
If you are one to believe in destiny and in a path that was written well
before your birth, then it is easier to accept life such as it is.
Life is an act of being that is never ending.
It continues in its' act of exploration and experience , as it does when a child is born
into a new world, taking its first breath and then at the end when God and angels
show it the light and allow it to breath in a new phase of existence.
In that sense we are always children to continuously be educated.
We grow old and still wonder what this was all about?
What is the truth of it all?
The truth is in being at peace and allowing destiny to continue showing you the way.
Man is no different from the corals which send out spores into the universe.
The act of life is laborious in nature but there are moments of rest and peace
when the silky satin wave appears and grace overtakes the trusting soul and
shows it the way.
We reject many things not believing in their existence but thankfully,
what is, still believes in us and this makes all the difference knowing,
I will be there.
xoxoxoxoxoxo
Life always presents you with unexpected things.
No matter who you are, life surrounds pain, suffering, joy,
regret, love, hate
................ and teaches you to bend.
You are not alone. There is no shame.
Every one loses self control at one point in life or another.
This is what makes us human and alive.
These are the learning experiences that help make us grow in body and spirit
into mature understanding people.
What would life be without problems to resolve?
Boring.
With nothing to lose self control over..... life would be boring.
Just think.. Today we had snow.
Big... beautiful... fluffy snowflakes
to lose control in.
I felt like Gene Kelly dancing in the rain. lol
I felt like Picasso exploring images beyond human comprehension.
It's nice to let go and just be yourself.
There is life and then there is life.
One is to let go in and the other..... is to say to....
you wish.....
You want to take my self control and sometimes you do
When I met my beloved husband I called him eagle eyes.
They were so bright
and seemed to glisten like the wild eagle, full of strength,
passion, innocence and power.
A hunter, survivor, a symbol of pride and elegance,
How could a gal resist such eyes? lol
I compared his eyes, to the Russian song Your Dark Eyes,
a song I loved so much about hypnotic black eyes .
But.............. black eyes
often scared me as they seemed to be doors to the underworld.
There was a door one dare not pass through until the time was right.
Very light blue eyes were also too hard to look at,
as they seemed to be cold.
Eyes, after all , are windows to the soul.
It's funny how people interpret other people through such simple things
like eyes ears nose smile. My husband had ears nose and smile I also loved.
Attraction as they say, is not a potato and beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder.
lol
Michael Jackson was ahead of the times loving life the way all
life should be loved and cared for.
His video shows how much he wanted love to reign on this planet.
Very touching video.
Well, I must say I've been reading a lot.
After fasting 12 hours, I gave myself a gallbladder flush consisting of
olive oil and lemon juice.
My son and I argue about food we should eat . We agree on a low carb diet
but apparently our body does need fat.
The gall bladder consists of bile and cholesterol
which it injects into the lower intestine for digestion purposes.
If you have no fat to dissolve ( meaning if you are vegetarian, no fat) the cholesterol
and bile crystallize and form gallbladder stones because there is no fat for them to
dissolve.
Some stones can be dissolved with drugs like
ursodiol or chenodol which takes about 6-8 weeks,
or they can inject something into the gall bladder and
dissolve the stones within 6-12 hours .
This procedure involves a painful burning sensation.
Then there is the removal of the gall bladder which involves 5-6 days in hospital.
Apparently they have a new, less intrusive way to do this today than in the past.
All in all , fat is required in ones' body to function properly so binge diets, aimed at quick
weight loss, is also bad to do for the above reason.
So when it comes to fat, my son and I are at a grid lock.
Every day they come up with something new. Who to believe.
Live and learn lol Made great soup today The smell is unbelievable.
We forget time is timeless and the world can survive with or without us.
Would be nice to enjoy and wake up to the sun, take a deep breath
and think..... what a beautiful world!
If only people would stop fighting and get along.
Michael Jackson left a great legacy.
Weather still dull and rain is consistent but the mountains look beautiful.

This is the time of year we must remember the goodness out there.
Have the world sing this at Christmas so life is first and foremost
GOD'S GIFT OF LIFE AND LOVE TO TREASURE at Christmas
till HE calls us home.
