Herman Zheng
Base stone of China

Emperor Qui unified China and built the Great Wall
Herman  sees the terracota army as a symbol of the Chinese nation
representing the ordinary people in the lower social class and creator of history
Every warrior symbolizes the base stone that forms the Great Wall forever and supports it.

(This is what is written at the base of the statue.)

I can't help but think of the movie with Brendan Fraser in
The Mummy Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.
That was an exciting movie

Have a happy Victoria Day Week End. :)

I haven't seen the movie, but I have seen the terracotta soldiers in China. Very impressive.

The BC Lions into sculpture? Well, I suppose. Strikes me as a bit peculiar, but there are a lot of peculiar things these days.

And the video — pure Hollywood nonsense. Probably filmed on Grouse Mountain.

Hope you've had a good Sunday, and will have a grand Victoria Day tomorrow.

rob bear the movie I think was filmed in China perhaps parts elsewhere.
I missed Rachel Weisz in it She should have continued to play the wife part. Brendan Fraser always makes things funny so you know the movie will have action fantasy and comedy in it.The first movie I saw with him was George of the jungle and I laughed so much.
The Yeti are creatures many speak of even here in BC. I am not totally convinced they are fantasy.
I can imagine a wild creature living in the woods resembling man.
Anyway it was a very nice movie to watch
