Flags in the Wind

While standing on the pier the wind picked up.
The flags began to flap sooo hard.
I thought someone was shooting overhead and that the pole was about to fall on my head
It was scary. It lasted just a few seconds but sent the message
that Mother Nature was in charge.
At this rate I wonder how long these flags would last.
We would benefit from electric generating windmills at this rate.
This is an inlet and not open into Georgia Straight.

We caught the end of tulip season.

And more of airplanes flying so close we could almost reach up and touch them. The International airport is in Richmond and they come in almost every 5 minutes to land.

There was one lone goose brave and strong hanging around the marina

I always admired bonzai plants and wonder if apple and cherry trees could be maintained this way

Hope you are enjoying hump Wednesday :)

hilary - the best part is that we could be tourists for a day and come back home as if from a weeks vacation
