Life is Like That

I wonder ..... where is sleeping beauty?

lol

I had an idea of how to do my next shawl but then once it began to turn out I realized I had to continue with the same thread.
Since I am using left overs this was not to be if it was to turn out nice.
So I asked my son to take me to the store since I like company, and he of course said no.
His life is way too busy.
So I said fine, once you finish you can take me to the store and then get gas.
Since he needs gas, he finished up quickly and took me to the store. lol

I looked and looked but the thread disappears quickly or is not replaced as it was in the past.

I was not going to find the color I needed.
Always happens this way.

But I found a mixed color thread which would match wonderfully.
So I bought it and just now tried it out and am thrilled.
It compliments the light mauve perfectly and will make it nicer than I imagined it would turn out
if I continue doing it without mistakes.

I hope I'm right.

This one is a simpler fan stitch but the directions were not written well so I had a bit of trouble with the run on instructions.

It's a long rectangle and also very nice for evening wear.

I already can't wait to show the end product.

I love to learn new stitching and new crafts. So much I still want to do.

The weeks are just too short.

Hope you have enough to do to enjoy your day today.

I'm Enjoying a mug of green beer guarding my pot of Gold. :)

I hope the shawl turns out wonderfully. Also hope the Little People didn't play too many tricks on you. Especially with that green beer.

Rob Bear - The little people AND I had a great time.! :)
So far the shawl is turning out. I may have it finished tomorrow. If I have enough thread I may decide to make a kerchief for it, so its a set.

And I have enough thread to make a hat to go with the other shawl so it's a set. That should be great as well.

I know those dwarves! I've seen every one of them in my bathroom mirror. Hmmm . . . Don't you love it when you are forced to find 'alternative' materials to finish a project and they actually make it turn out better?! Doesn't happen often, but when it does , HOORAY!!!
