I have always wanted to try doing something like tbhis to see if it would work out. It's a nice way to recycle cardboard and with a bit of paint it would make for great items for a childs room which is easily thrown out at a much later date.

Water at bed time will also help prevent night time leg cramps. Your leg muscles are seeking hydration when they cramp and wake you up with a Charlie Horse :)
