Precious

A quick snap of this camera shy cat.
Precious is her own girl
She likes pats if you can catch her.
She was much friendlier until we  spayed her and after that
she never trusted anyone to hold her for very long.
She just doesn't like it.
She loved her Tatty. He was her man and she still hasn't forgotten him.
Real loyal girl she is.
My son found her down town, put her in his pocket and brought her home.
He set her up in the upstairs bathroom which only he used for the most part, and it took a whole week before the rest of the family found out she was there.
The last thing we needed was another animal in the house. lol

It's funny. Even in the animal world strange things occur.
One would think she'd make new friends after a while but no.
She tolerates the dogs and coons and doesn't fear them but she is no push over.
Let me be and mind your own business.
Precious loves her freedom and although she is always around the house and comes in to eat,she is not the kind of girl who would come and rub against you or lick you
or enjoy a good lazy tummy rub.
She'll sit waiting for a chance to get away.
Then she'll sit on her favorite post watching the birds, enjoying the sunlight and the moon, at night.
What a strange cat.

Your love for the kit is readily apparent. I am glad you have such a friend!

Sandy - She is easy. Cats like the outside. Spayed and neutered they never go far and stick around the house or follow you around the yard.
She was a tiny thing and very friendly. My son took her so a car wouldn't kill her.I think when they spayed her they must have damaged something inside cause after that she never came to be patted or caressed. She is tolerant but it's like she is doing you a favor lol

Kathy - she is a wonderful cat with very pretty markings. Most of my cats are nice cats. Usually they are all very pesty but this girl is a watcher.
There are times I think she would like to be nice to me if we could find a minute not to have anyone else around us but those times are very rare as I am always followed by another animal.
I think if we only had a one on one relationship, she would come around and be a loveable cat.
She just doesn't like company.lol
