Goat Humor

Goats always make me giggle.
I love them because they are so mischievous
and always on the look out as to what they can do.
I had one who just looked for my behind to butt with his head
so when ever I was around it I had to make sure there was a wall or a column
or something behind , other wise he would go around and head on in.
No matter what you did though he would find something to bother you with.
If he couldn't get your butt, he'd begin chewing on your pants lol
He knew you did not belong in the barn
and was helping you to decide to leave.

I guess goat milk would make great mozarella cheese Its so easy to make at home.

Today I made rice and meat stuffed phyllo dough and a dish my Mom always made out of eggplant, carrots tomatoes onions and garlic.
The eggplant is baked and skinned.
Then you fry chopped onions garlic carrots in a bit of oil adding tomato and the eggplant.
Simmer everything. Add lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste.
Once it is cooled its great as a spread with crackers or bread for a snack or to add on the plate with other things.
I love it.

This kept me busy the whole day. Cooking is not an easy job. So many dishes result from it.
Best not to cook lol

The young couple invited their elderly pastor for Sunday dinner. While
they were in the kitchen preparing the meal, the minister asked their
son what they were having.
"Goat," the little boy replied.
"Goat?" replied the startled man of the cloth, "Are you sure about that?"
"Yep," said the youngster. "I heard Dad say to Mom, 'Today is just as
good as any to have the old goat for dinner.'
