Japanese Candy/Peanut/Cookie Bowl

This is something I found I never knew I had.
It's from Japan and has a number on it.
The Roses and leaves stick out from the bowl just a tiny bit.
You can feel the outline over a very smooth surface.

So now it will go and hide again in a box till I discover it again.

That bowl is neat. My grandmother had pieces like this that just delighted me. I knew they were hand-painted, and I would wonder about the artist who held this piece my grandmother cherished.

Thanks Mama zen . The colors in real life are nicer than the picture.

Sandy I believe this bowl belonged to my Grama as well. She loved roses, lilacs and lily of the valley.
Trouble with these things is they can break easily so you need to keep them tucked away and then they can't be enjoyed. lol

Thanks Guys but I am afraid it will break and it is antique now lol It must be over 40 years old at least.
Then I find if you don't have things under lock and key people come to your house and things disappear.
It's happened before and it always surprises me.

Zuzana - I buy gifts for people during the year when we have sales so when Christmas time comes I have nothing to do because they are all wrapped. I even buy myself things to put under the tree lol
By the Christmas comes I already forgot what I bought, so when we open, presents we all find surprises inside we never knew about lol So it's always a great Christmas. lol
