Happy Palm Sunday

A Lady's Life

Wants to wish everyone a Happy Palm Sunday.
We remember the sacrifice made by God's only son,

Jesus.

He was willing to die, so man could live.

A Lamb among Kings.

We pray mankind is worthy of his Love,

His Death

and

His Resurrection

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.

Mankind will never be worthy of His love, suffering and death. That's the whole point. If we were worthy, it wouldn't have been necessary.

Jesus chose to die on that cross to absolve us from the sin that separates us from God. Death isn't the kind of sacrifice one can make up for.

Thanks Akelamalu and George. Same to you.

Quilly If we follow him then we are worthy. If we don't follow him, we are worthy because he said Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.
Jesus died for us but God
resurrected him.Jesus even forgave Juda because he knew Juda betrayed him.Juda knew he knew.Imagine how this must have played in his head?
Jesus forgave the criminals who were impressed with him.
Jesus's last words were Father why have you forsaken me?
But the Father didn't. He resurrected him
This is the story and what the belief stems from.
The Christian religion is ingenious. There is none like it in the world.
Of course there will always be false prophets of the church who try to manipulate his words but he warns us about them
He teaches us to use our own heads and not follow if we see we are being lied to.If this isn't freedom then what is?
So in the end it is between man and God as it should be, as it was between Jesus and God.
Religion isn't about clothing, food, torture or judgement.
It is about love and forgiveness.
How do you judge a humble shepherd
tending his flock?
When you have peace because you understand, it is better than having peace obtained through a sword. This is why I believe in Jesus. I think he had a message worth sending forward.

Happy wishes to you too. I will (after years, for not having been in a "Christian" country) celebrate Easter and take Good Friday and Easter Monday off.
