Korean Tiger magpie and pine tree.
Pine tree = symbol of first month of the year
magpie bringer of good news and Tiger who chases away evil spirits.
The Ajaeng is a string instrument with strings of twisted silk.
A stick made out of forsythia wood is scraped against the strings like a bow. The instrument has 7 strings. Some have up to 9 strings.It sounds like a cello

George - most of my stuff is in boxes. lol
I just found this album so I am trying to put some pics on line.
Seoul is a place I wouldn't mind going back to and just visiting for a while. There is lots to see and learn.I forgot a lot already and it is nice to just look back and remember.

Sandy - yes and snow does fall in Korea.lol
The weather is just the same. And they have so many pine trees.
I keep thinking of Remo Williams - The adventure begins when they say In Korea, the door handles do not break. lol
