One Pair of Hands Has My Faith

This is such a beautiful song and so inspirational.

Today it is much brighter outside and it makes you feel a lot better.
The street is covered in yellow leaves and looks so pretty.
But it is terrible for the sewers if they fall in.

As the holidays approach, the giant factories in China, are kicking into high gear to provide Canadians/Americans with monstrous piles of cheaply produced goods  merchandise that has been produced at the expense of Canadian labour and that break so fast.

This year will be different.

This year Canadians/Americans will give the gift of genuine concern for other Canadians/Americans.
1) Gift of a haircut/nails/ cuticles

2) Car detailed/washed
3) Gym membership
4) Craft Products supporting  local creative artists/carpenters/designers and charities
5) Oil change
6) Mowed Lawn

7) Driveway Sealed
8) Restaurant gift certificate
9) Computer tune up
10) Cleaning lady
11) Tickets for a local play
12) Local band show
13) Baby sitting
14) Flowers
15) Room Painting
16) Soccer game tickets
17) Hotel outing
18) Baskets filled with local products
19) Local wineries/breweries
20) Local cheese

The best gift, is to support your community as well as make your family and friends happy.
So get to it and make someone happy. :)

BUY CANADIAN/American - BE CANADIAN/American ---
and get with the Christmas Spirit of giving true love.

I hope you have a wonderful day.

Thanks Kathy - The list is long.
How about window washing.WHat makes it extra special is that you have to look at the person to be gifted to see what it is that is exactly needed in his/her life and you also kill two birds with one stone.

Our community has had a buy local campaign during the holidays for several years, but I think it is good to extend it to all of the country. You've given some wonderful ideas here.

Lydia I put this up last year and I am putting it up this year again.
People forget.lol
Can you imagine how much nice stuff local people can make for the people whose homes are gone noW?
I still have my bedroom set with the original sticker as to who made it.
It was a local company. Many people threw theirs away and I feel very sad when I see this.

Hehehe ! I could have written the same post only at the end "Buy local - buy European" because we too are invaded by "made in China" !

gattina - I so agree. The products are made very cheap and throw away
and we also have a garbage problem. Where do we throw the garbage?
So today's world should be about recycling and buying at home.
