A childs world will never change
Gingerbread houses Angels
The old Grinch who stole Christmas Sleigh dogs and
horses.
The other day I opened a box and inside was the ol stuffed
shepherd that used to sleep on my sons bed.
I was surprised to see it.
You see opening up boxes like this, not knowing what's inside, is a bit like Christmas lol
I was going to put him back in but my son saw it and
took it out and put it on the couch.
He remembered Past Christmases when all these stuffed animals were
put out to greet Santa
from his work shop as he came to see them
on the special night of all nights.
I guess the little child remains in all of us and
The jolly old elf never forgets his old friends
as he drinks his milk and cookies.
Hope you have a pleasant day with your memories.

Ah, the ghost or at least stuffed shepherd of Christmas past. Such a wonderfully nostalgic post, thanks.
It's nice to make memories even small ones, because they follow you all your life.
I remember one time my Dad had no job and my parents were worried.
My Mom told me my Dad was going for a job interview and I told him don't worry. You'll get a job today Daddy and he did. I was so confident and probably he went in with confidence too and that clinched it for him.
My parents said I was good luck for my Dad that day.
It made me feel good. I was only 4.lol
You're absolutely correct -- Christmas often brings out the child in all of us. I'm glad the shepherd will be out to greet Santa this year.
George - so are a lot of the animals lol
The couch is getting crowded lol
Hi A Lady's Life .. love the fact your son has brought them out for Christmas ..
Enjoy the sofa full! Cheers Hilary
Hilary - Christmas is for kids and a blessed event for grown ups
You beautifully capture the magic of Christmas. You help me remember what I once loved about the holiday. Thank you, friend.
