The Myth of Saints and Angels

I loved the movie with Cary Grant called the Bishops Wife.
It was a story about a Bishop who worked towards acquiring a huge Church and had no time for anything else which was meaningful, like his wife, his old parish where he had a beautiful boys' choir, and so according to his wish for help an Angel showed up, Cary Grant.
He helped fix the important things in the Bishops life by making him realize what was important and what was not.
It is hard to get these quality kind of movies today.
Today the only one which had any big impact on me was the one with Brad Pitt in the movie
Joe Black.

People don't believe in Saints and Angels any more than they believe in Santa Claus and even God but we all need these beliefs even if we don't acknowledge the need.
We all need love, kindness, help, trust, beauty, at one time or another.
We are strong and yet we are also frail.
I guess this is why we are called social beings.
We are people who need people to feed our souls.
We all need magic and miracles and fantasy in order to grow as people.
I guess we also need evil so as to force us into never forgetting who we are and who we need to become lol.
Our whole lives we feed on stories and we become stories to other people.
Every one of us is a story.
Every one of us is a legend.
Every one of us is an Angel and a Saint.
Every one of us knows evil as well as good.
Every one of us has God within us because of the soul we carry inside,
that's called life.

We may not believe things exist but we are all the things we don't believe in.
Life , being human and social, causes each one of us to play the roles of all of the above things.
Saying it this way makes it sound kinda insane.
God is one.
But then we are one with God as well.
He cannot be escaped even if we don't believe in him.

The trick is with the Devil for he tries to become God.
He tries to become one with everything.
He is the Black Swan.
He is the one which fights against perfection.
He says to people we are not perfect and it is hypocritical for us to think we are or can ever be.
So when we see perfection we covet it, hate it, try to destroy it.
Every time perfection is destroyed, it is replaced by imperfection.

The Devil wants all perfection to be destroyed and everything to become one with him in
imperfection.
This would then make him equal to and more powerful than God
and therefore perfect. lol

And what is perfection?
Perfection is God.
No matter what he does, the only way the devil can rule, is under the perfect God.
So God can never be replaced.

People fight against the word perfection.
It is not easy to reach this level because you have to be better than other people at what you do.
There are many ballerinas but not many perfect ones.
There are many doctors but not many perfect ones.
Some stand out more than others and they are both liked and disliked for being who they are.

What people do not understand is that we cannot escape being perfect.
We are all perfect at something no matter how miniscule it may seem.
The only thing we can hope and wish for, is that whatever we become perfect in,
it is not at something dreadful because all that does is make a person work against himself .

The Devil is known as a liar for he does not disclose the truth to mankind.
He is not forthcoming in what the true meaning of the word
PERFECTION
is.
Perfection exists as do Saints and Angels and Santa Claus.
Saints and Angels are not myths.
We need them all to function as social beings.
My Guardian Angel sits on my shoulder every day to guide me.
Sometimes he makes me cry cause I make decisions I am against making.
He shows me my frailties as a human being, my imperfections.
but then I believe in God.
With God and my Angel, I know I will over come and correct my mistakes and forge on towards the light,
toward perfection which will make a bigger and better impact on the universal plane.
As people, we all have the capability, to achieve this end.

As long as there is the word, there is existence.

Have a good Day :)

I just imagine Cary Grant as angel and laugh my head off. Haven't seen this movie it was probably very good.
I don't know if I believe in angels, sometimes they are very practical.
Perfection is another thing. a perfect person must be rather boring !

Gattina - I never met a perfect person but I am sure if I ever did meet one I would be extremely curious and find it very entertaining lol
