A Lady Forever

Here's to all the ladies who live and listen to the blarney of men.

These are the comedians who make us laugh and cry
who we treasure and always keep dear in our hearts regardless.
Men have many faults due to the simpleness of their nature
and yet they are as perfect as the unblemished rose they choose
to brighten your soul with.

To our men, who become our knights in shining armor, we will always be special ladies.
We choose each other to walk through heaven and hell with and what a better way to express yourself, than though acts of love kindness and forgiveness.
Life throws many curves at you and both need to find strength in each other
to prevail.

We will always be ladies to the men who love us.

And if they don't love us as they should, well..... their loss,
we can still laugh at their comical, simple minded ways of perceiving life
in hopes that one day they grow up and see, there is no where to run.

Nothing is more important than stability and keeping the promises in the commitments we make.
The grass might look greener on the other side of the fence but then so can yours be
if it is fertilized and cared for, in the same way.

Nothing says that crossing fences to the other side will brighten ones' future.
It just leaves ones' turf open to be cared for by another and built up to mean something better.
Something that was yours and thrown away.

A Lady for Ever

THE SILENT TREATMENT
A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment. Suddenly, the man realized that the next day, he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 AM for an early morning business flight. Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper, "Please wake me at 5:00 AM."

He left it where he knew she would find it. The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM and he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't wakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed.
The paper said, "It is 5:00 AM. Wake up."

I really enjoyed your Silent Treatment story. I also like what you had to say in the first part of your post.
