A Mother's Birthday Wish

Mothers' Love for Nick

I'll write you a poem from a Mothers' heart
I'll sing you a lullabye
I'll kiss your chubby cheeks
When you slumber in the night
Over your fingers and toes I'll cry.
Touching your haloed head
I'll hold you close to feel your breath
To make sure you are warm and safe.

I'll gaze at you to catch that smile
from that angelic dream
I'll pat your bum so you don't fear
and stay wide eyed awake
Till you grow up to be a man
I'll still sit up and weep.
For you are a Mothers' child
A precious gift of life.

I'll write you a poem from a Mothers' soul
As you walk out that front door
To seek the life you were meant to live
Away from hearth and bowl.
For now the world is at your feet
It's yours to lose or win
And Mom will sit and knit all night
Thinkin where you've been?

I'll write you a poem in case I die
and I have yet to see you fore
I'd like you to know, you are ne'er alone
I'll pray and guard ye more

Walk on my son, with spirit bright
May your life be blessed
And when you have a little babe
Be there to love and
Kiss its' tiny breast.

love Mom.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Nick !!!!
A Lady's Life.

Have a great day!

My son would think that I belong in a mad house if I would write such nice poeme for him ! He is too down on earth for that.
Happy birthday to your son. It's really nice what you did.

gattina - The world has changed.
My son thought it was sweet. But then he knows me. lol
You have to be true to yourself when you write and this is me. I love children, especially babies.
My life is spent protecting them.
No sin in this world is worse than harming a child.
