Sacred Is As Sacred Does

Since an intelligence common to us all makes things known to us and formulates them in our minds, honourable actions are ascribed by us to virtue, and dishonourable actions to vice; and only a madman would conclude that these judgements are matters of opinion, and not fixed by nature.
Marcus Tullius Cicero (106-43 B.C.), Roman orator, philosopher. De Legibus, bk. 1, ch. 16, sect. 45 (85 A.D.).
 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We speak words such as something being sacred without understanding exactly what this means.
It comes to the point where nothng becomes sacred because we trample over everything that in the past and even today, was valued.
Can something sacred become Unsacred? Yes.

Once people begin to trash and trample till nothing is left, what will they do then?

If you believe in nothing, care for nothing, then what kind of  people do we become?

Most of what we trash has commercial value.
We trash land held sacred in Canada, by the Aboriginal people.
We trash religion, calling it poppycock.
We trash our bodies, saying we have rights to desecrate what belongs to us.
We trash unborn children, saying our rights over our bodies comes first.
We trash children born to us as wonderful miracles.
We trash marriages.
We trash traditional families.
We trash seniors .
We trash schools.
We trash good business.
We trash the oceans and forests and air and water.
We trash good language We trash good education
We trash good laws.
We began to trash the heavens and other stars and planets.

We call all this trashing, progress. Moving forward and we make it legal to do, through
our governments which are full of lawyers who make excuses for everything we do.

Through out all MANS' PROGRESS, do we find peace, happiness, contentment, beauty,
......?

No. We have problems which are becoming too over whelming to handle.
We have a need to build more jails or allow crime to live and continue to hurt people.
We have laws which can't be obeyed because if you try to obey them and complain when they don't,
the powers that be, destroy you, because they own everything affecting your life.

Now under the 10 Commandments, most of these problems would not exist because
people would consider morals and values which are part of the word SACRED.

There would be some lines which could not be crossed.
Women would behave in such a way as not require abortions, as would men not to cause women to have them..
Families would not divorce because there would be no differences which could not be fixed.
Alcoholism, abuse, drug problems, violent acts would not exist.
Gay issues would never be an issue because sex would not be something pushed and because
people would accept who they were by the genitals they were born with.
Land would be kept clean, as would water, air , food.
Seniors would have loving families to live in instead of  senior homes
Children would have more family and love around them.
Schools would not have to deal with troubled youth and all the psychological illnesses they come in with.

If we stop corrupting everything about life, that is pure and good, we would not have to pay so many taxes and have more time to live and enjoy our homes and families.

The thing is, when we speak of social services we speak of helping people in their hour of need
but it does not give people rights to artificially create those needs by desecrating everything
around them that is good, to get them because society just can't handle the cost, nor should the tax payer be asked to. Human rights applies to every individual, to do good, unto him/herself and thus
apply to the word SACRED.

So the same people who trash the Bible  and the 10 Commandments, are responsible for trashing the word Sacred and everything else, pure and good, for commercial and financial ends.
Although they may have money, it will not buy them things money can't buy like
friendship, trust, love, peace, health, eternity.... to name a few.

The reason we want better things in life, is to be able to have things money can't buy.
You cannot trash sacred things and believe there will not be a price to pay for it in the future.

The reason they are called the 10 Commandments is because man is commanded by God
to obey but he will not be forced. Parents command children to do right  but they will not kill them if they don't obey.
The decision is always left to us, for the foot prints we leave behind, will be followed by the young
who know less about good things, with each generation.
The future will be about world scarcity as opposed to the horn of plenty we enjoyed under the word of God.
The 10 Commandments are part of what is sacred and if you trash them.....
then this is equivalent to cursing not only the present but the past and the future generations to come
Although one can maybe speak for oneself, one cannot speak for every one .

There is no reason to have laws and governments if 10 simple laws cannot be obeyed by mankind.
We hear people saying this more and more today.
We also have to ask ourselves why we fear them so?

“‎What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and work flow.”

Harry was sick and tired of being constantly badgered by his wife Barbara for spending so much time in the bar so he invited her to along with him.
“So what would you like?” he asked as she took her seat next to him. “Oh I don’t know” Barbara replied, “I guess I’ll take the same thing as you.”
“OK . Bartender, we’ll take two Johnny Walker’s on the rocks!”
Barbara barely took a sip of the drink before she started gagging “Oh my gosh! Get me a cup of water! This stuff is horrible! How do you drink this garbage?”
“See?” said Harry “and you think I come here just to have a good time."

David Schwartz is dying and is  on his deathbed.  He is with his nurse, his wife, his daughter and 2 sons,  and knows the end is near. So he says to them:

"Bernie, I want you to  take the Beverly Hills houses."
"Sybil, take the apartments  over in Los Angeles Plaza."
"Hymie, I want you to take the  offices over in City Center."
"Sarah, my dear wife, please take  all the residential buildings downtown"
The nurse is just blown  away by all this, and as david slips away, she says to the wife,  "Mrs.   Schwartz, your husband must have been such a hardworking man  to have accumulated so much property."

Sarah replies, "Property  shmoperty...the schmuck had a  newspaper route."
Have a wonderful day!!
