This is a rather thick book but man is it a good one.
I am sooo enjoying it.
Rutherfurd wrote a book of fiction, a saga, following history
and you can tell from the start, how much research
went into writing it.
Rus came from the Iranian language meaning light or
shining .
The book begins, from before the beginning and speaks of tribes
and how the people lived .
I am on page 50 in a book close to 1000 pages and
can't get my nose out of it.
It's absolutely captivating from the get go.
So much to learn here.
I am highly recommending it as a book every one
should try to get their hands on.
The second hand book store sure paid off this time.

Don't know the book. I am back from France and 25° to rain and 7° ! Rather hard to get used to this again !
