The Poet

I love this series of paintings by Larry

And as I met the poet,
I followed his thoughts and heart through his words and eyes.
We touched
Through timeless serene green meadows
Our minds took walks and met beneath the willows
by a crystal brook.
We sat on park benches and laughed discretely
Shaded behind the prickly rose bushes.

We discovered the nests of life
and cherished them through time for future generations.
And the poet lived on through my eyes
And I am here to convey to others
The words so meaningful and lovely
So as to make all hearts melt
Who have become witness to the love
And the cherished memories transgressing time
And rendering it (time) meaningless.

A Lady's Life

Human Planet Man and survival.

His request approved, the CNN News photographer quickly used a cell phone to call the local airport to charter a flight.

He was told a twin-engine plane would be waiting for him at the airport.
Arriving at the airfield, he spotted a plane warming up outside a hanger.
He jumped in with his bag, slammed the door shut, and shouted, 'Let's go'.
The pilot taxied out, swung the plane into the wind and took off.
Once in the air, the photographer instructed the pilot, 'Fly over the valley and make low passes so I can take pictures of the fires on the hillsides.'

'Why?' asked the pilot.

'Because I'm a photographer for CNN' , he responded, 'and I need to get some close up shots.'

The pilot was strangely silent for a moment, finally he stammered,

'So, what you're telling me, is . . .

You're NOT my flight instructor?'

Always ask lol

Thank you for your comment ! As you don't have an email available I have to answer you here ! I too read my diary which I had started when I was around 14 and stopped at 18 ! my goodness, I laughed so much, but in another way it helped me when my son was that age, I was a rebel he was too !
