Salute!

This little red nosed guy is around 70 years old, from Egypt.
We had him since we got married and he was old then.
lol

He still makes you smile because he has never lost hope
or his will to live. He takes his bumps and shrugs them off and keeps on truckin.

Always cheerful. Always showing how life should be lived, simply, happily, sans regret.
Life is but a fleeting moment in time .
A snap of a finger .....and it's gone.

So be joyful and merry as they say, while you can.

:)

the little figurine doesn't look Egyptian at all ! Especially with the beer, they don't drink any alcohol, it looks like a German souvenir, lol ! The video is amazing, but still I prefer my little room tigers !

Gattina - my husbands family had it from Egypt.I don't know where they got it from lolOn the Suez canal they had many ships
but it's nice to know you have an idea where it could have originated from.
I would have guessed French or Italian.
Maybe Italian because one of the kids studied there.
I loved the video and watch it again and again. Amazing animals.

The red-nosed guy must be an ancestor of mine-I intend to follow his example. Loved the video. Wonderful to see how affectionate those magnificent animals can be.

Probably happier than the population of Egypt combined at the moment. A beautiful, cheery figure!

I guess we are all spectators in this world. We watch and can't believe what we see.

George Yes its easier on the spirit.
You respect and protect and care about you life and people and environment Live simply and enjoy. Although Our society doens;t always allow you to do this. Especially the banks.
No one should borrow.
Live in the street and pay cash.

Sandy the people of Egypt is an interesting development because Khomeini militants shiites, may not like it so they have to be very careful or they may end up with something a lot worse than Mubarak.
You have to give them a A for effort.
This Koran is so outdated and people have to move on.
