What Women Want

I remember the Beaver Cleaver days when it was easy to please a woman.
Buy her perfume, a gorgeous neglige for a special occasion, make up, nice shoes or slippers a pair of evening gloves, a nice hat, broaches earrings and necklaces.....
No matter how poor girls were they always managed to look like a million bucks because of the way they presented themselves.
My Mom would always look good for my Dad when he would come home from work and it always made him happy.
Todays woman is different. She is a lot more out going relaxed and wears clothes to please herself. Going to church today does not require elegance. You get away with
pant suits, comfortable low healed shoes or athletic wear. The hair sports easy to manage cuts and hats are mostly knitted .
Todays' woman is comfortable wearing baseball caps and has no real need for make up or even fancy jewelry which tattoos and piercings have replaced. Hair is never gray and thanks to technology, teeth stay pearly white.

So what do women want?

Well .......every woman sometimes needs a treat to be the beautiful girl she was born to be so nothing is passe today. This is what makes todays' woman exciting and even mysterious because she can be many people in one.

She can be a lady one day, a sportswoman another, a role model the third, jack of all trades , dancer, or even a good time girl and be the better for it.

Growing up under my Mom's straight lace influence,I remember her telling me, when you go to university, you will see the light and doors opening up for you.
So I went in with eyes wide open and sure enough she was right.

I remember going to listen to a gay lecture, thinking it was a gathering about people learning how
to make life fun. My friend and I both left laughing when we found out how dumb we were.We entering with our little brown bag sandwiches and left early trying to wear those bags over our heads .lol
We saw so many gay people that day who were so different from the nice people we knew personally, that it was kinda intimidating to find out they were all not so nice.We saw and heard a lot of ugliness in that hour.

I remember reading the women libber books and they were very mind expanding.
They spoke of bra burning and told every young lady that just because she was religious and
straight laced, she was nevertheless a whore just like any street woman. After reading these books, street women could not be judged anymore. They were free, liberated.
They put every woman on the same road going in the same direction, but it made judging every good girl a right in itself.

The significance of this info forced every girl to sit down and question herself and and who she was.
"Am I a whore?" "Rubbish! There certainly is a difference."

They told everyone that sex was a natural need and every one normal needed to have it.
Were they saying if you were not sex crazed and practiced self control, you were not normal?
Yes, they did.

Those books were so liberating that they destroyed the beautiful image of being a wife and Mother and always loving kids, I found the liberation as well as the disrespect both inviting and confusing.
It was not only men who were being bashed and led to confusion with respect to women but also the women bashed with respect to men, in those days.

Liberation cost every woman plenty because it did put all of us on the same plane.
I liked the equality with respect to jobs and equal pay for equal work, but the rest of it was questionable.

Women could never be men. Taking Shotokan Karate proved this to me as I saw fists coming closer to my face, faster and with more power than I could ever muster.lol It got me to brown belt but afterwards my face and teeth became more important to me lol

And although women think faster and ahead because of this,it made them seem smarter. But once you marry and the role changes into being a Mother which takes up most of your time, men are needed to carry on for what now becomes a loving family with precious chicks to keep you on the right track.

Todays' world changed again and society is forcing people into a two income, survival mode and even then it can be difficult.
The result we see today in lack of jobs, housing, money leaving the country, disrespect between men and women, women with no
Mother instincts, destruction of traditional families because the spiritual needs people need in marriages has left and children suffering from ADD etc.... because they are not allowed to grow and explore naturally but forced to fight into a world they do not understand and pressured to accept it as someone else perceives it.
If you never had something, as they say, you never miss it but should not this be your decision to make and not instructed into you before you have a chance to learn about what made this world what it is today?Today they replaced one form of force with another and changed norms
from one kind of torture to another.
Where does psychological torture to survive fit in, in todays world, as families are being economically bashed ?

All the missing links children are being raised with today, will affect life and living in the future.
Education is different from instruction.

So I sigh because looking back, my eyes had been opened as my parents said they would be but I loved living in the innocent world I lost because of it and am grateful they gave me a time to know innocence enough to want it for my children. Isn't this what love means?

Life never allows man to be the creature he was meant to be.
Either wars destroy people and their spirits or politics and life in general.
I guess women libers were right in one thing.
We are all put on the same plate no matter who we are or where.
People are not perfect. We all make mistakes and live in our own hell.
Inspite of all of this, we all like to be recognized as humans trying to be better, trying to do the right thing, in spite of everything.

So what do women want?
Looking back, I think we are no different from any other human.
We all want peace, food, shelter and most of all, love.

Blessed are those who can experience the blush of a pink rose, and be able to pass it forward to future generations.

Have a great day!

Sending A Message Into the Beyond.

Our world is a vibrant, living, entity, providing endless breathtaking beauty to nourish ones' soul.

Wouldn't it be nice to send a message out into the universe, by having the whole world playing one beautiful melody so the heavens can see and hear how much we love and are loved by the people who create, adding, to what God has already put together for mankind, in his peaceful splendor.

A melody transgressing words, sending a message to soothe the beast and make him want more of what God has to offer, never ending, unconditional , love, un afraid to unfold itself and bare its' soul to all who care to see.

Grab hold of the melody, absorb it, feel it and let it grow in peace.

Tomorrow Forever

Tomorrow I will sleep till birds awake me.
Sleep till sun rays beat upon my face.
Wait till the wind blows your sweet essence to my soul,
And know my heart will never break.

I will sleep till morrow comes.
You will sweep me off my feet.
I will taste your soft wet lips,
And there will be no time to weep.

I will sleep till time crashes onto the shore
And stops beside this wise old Oak,
Who sees every day unfold
And witnesses me sleep.

I will sleep till I awake.
This no one can stop,
but first I'll call to hear your voice,
Lest I forget to wake.

So much depends on you my love,
Each day and each tomorrow.
No one can love you as I do.
I'll sleep forever in my sorrow.

So hear me well and hurry home.
Don't let my life be slept away.
Each time I look into your bright lit eyes,
I miss and love you more and more.

A Lady's Life.

Serenity

Serenity growls
Intruders alert!
Hold onto the peace
They try to avert.

Serenity puts up a quiet revolt
Against the intruders
Who start to recruit.

Serenity barks,
The weapons are armed
It waves out its' arms
Its' stock piles are full
Intruders acknowledge it
For what it is.

Serenity? Ya!
And they retreat
Serenity growls
And lies down to rest
Untouched by the noisy
Intruder's alert.

A Golden Lady

I thought, should I pick her and take her home?
Or should I leave her where she was born?
Should I let people smell her or tell them to leave?
Is she there to remind us of beauty and love?

I thought, should I pick her from ground so low?
Should I count the petals eenie meenie meinie moe?
Should I tear them off asking if he loves me or not?
Tell me Golden head, what are your thoughts?

The flower looked up into the sun
Her flowery scent was blown by the wind
The flowers all crouched and looked up to her
I couldn't pick, a golden lady, in prayer.

Christina Lake

I got pictures from Christina Lake and told everyone, this is such a beautiful place.

Today we found out, a woman there, was feeding dog food to bears, by her place deep in the woods, to keep people away from her marijuana grow op.

The police went to check on the bear problem and found it loll

So she is arrested and now they are worried about bears becoming aggressive because they are not going to be fed by her

They may have to shoot them. They say maybe at the trial she will say she had the grow op to get money to feed the bears. The bears are docile and happy and the police were laughing.

Bears are misunderstood. They just say: "Feed me." loll

A House Full of Stuff.

You cannot put order in another mans house until you put order in your own.

I see my house as unkempt.
It is not a show house.
It is a house where I live and do my things in.
It’s a lived in house.
It has stuff in it, smells and it is full of people who are of different opinions.
It is a house full of sounds.
This is the house I live in.

I go to another mans house.
Its is clean, with a show room appearance.
No one can walk in there with shoes.
The floor is cold.
It is full of laws, discipline , order.
It has no smell, no stuff, no books,no people who dare offer an opinion.
The house is quiet.
This is the other mans house.

If I had a choice between these two houses, I rather live in my noisy pig stye,
than in his clean house of peace.
Because in my house I find joy, creation and freedom, while in his
Sadness and no will to live.
I live in a house with no order.
People visit me there and leave happy.
Why should I want to put order in my house
to live in his house of tyranical peace?

I cannot keep order in your house, if I cannot put order in mine
but if I had a choice between our two houses, I'd rather live in my house than thine.

Freedom

FREEDOM.

I fear death but death does not fear me

I shed blood and blood was shed of me

I fear God and bow my head in shame, for

I feel no sympathy, in his silent gaze

The heavy burden in my heart

Fights for peace and freedom,

In this, my heart’s devout

I can’t free my soul knowing it’s on fire, so

I hold it hostage saying God’s quagmire

If all men stood up in their domain

And shot a bullet into each others’ flame

Till no one’s left to speak of these horrendous acts

God and Justice will be left to blame.

For man is hell and hell is found in man

Man finds no peace in his demands

There is no freedom when there are needs

To eat, find shelter and pay bills.

To stand guard over one and all

Means sleepless nights to fight the rogue

There is no peace in spoken words

And there’ll be no words in God’s house of repose.

And since we fear to set our spirit free

In hell we’ll live

Where there is no such thing, as Liberty.

We'll still dream of a Higher Kingdoms’ open doors

To accept us as we are, in human form.

To forgive us all our stupid ways

And our means to get there, in soldier arrays.

A Little Birdie Told Me

We Are Forgiven

Posted by Picasa

One must never forget why Adam and Eve were thrown out of paradise. They disobeyed God and God was angry but he understood why they did what they did.
God loved man and he had faith in him but God also wanted man to have faith in him. God showed man good will by letting him go.

Man is worthy if he follows Jesus.
Man is worthy if he doesn't follow Jesus.
Jesus asked his Father to forgive us for we know not what we do.
Jesus forgave Juda for betraying him and Juda knew that he knew.
Imagine how this must have played in his head?
Jesus forgave Mary Magdaline.
Jesus forgave the crucified criminals.

Jesus's last words were: Father, why have you forsaken me?
But he was resurrected so again, God came through for him and for mankind.
Jesus was not forsaken as neither will man be.

This is the story that Christianity is based on......Hope .....Faith.

It has always been a question of trust and faith which Adam and Eve did not have.

The Christian religion is ingenious. There is none like it in the world.

Of course there will always be false prophets and we are warned about them and told to use our heads.
Isn't this true freedom, to be given a right to decide for ourselves and time to make the right decision through coming to an understanding?

In the end, God will show us TRUTH and we will be educated.
This is why God doesn't fear the devil because the devil is not about TRUTH but its' manipulation.
The thing about TRUTH is that, in the end, you must either understand it or self destruct because you can't.
This is the way our minds were constructed by God.
He knows who we are.

That is the plan but first God is giving us time to do what we need to do to obtain understanding because it is important to us, not to him.

God recognized man's need to understand first before he could himself be trusted by man.Being smart he must have known that there is only so much arguing one can do with oneself lol
If God was ever to have a friend and not be ONE, it had to be based on truth.
We do not know the whole story behind that.
We only know God did not want to be alone.

In the end, it is between man and God as it was between Jesus and God.

Religion isn't about clothing, food, torture or judgement. These directions were given to us because we did not know about germs or dust or social etiquette etc... elements which were harmful to us not to know. Since then man has progressed.

Religion is about forgiveness and love.
How do you judge a humble shepherd leading innocent lambs?

When you have peace because you understand, it is better than begetting peace through the sword.
Man is like a dog or horse who would give its life for someone it loves but will never risk losing its life to help an owner, if the owner is harsh and beats it.

This is why I believe in Jesus.

He had a message of TRUTH I think was worth sending forward .
His Truth crosses generations because some things just never change.
It doesn't matter who you are or what station you hold in life, there is something
for every one, found in the teachings of a humble shepherd.

AND

we are all forgiven.
We were forgiven the day God let Adam and Eve live.

Eyes of the Children

In the eyes of the children
Love peace and joy

In the eyes of the children
We love and adore

In the eyes of the children
Whose innocence we betray

In the eyes of the children
By grave yards we pray

Oh land shore and air,
Take heed lest we lose

In the eyes of the children
It is their souls we bleed.

Let no man raise arms
No humanity decay

On the streets where the children
So innocently play.

Let peace joy and love cross over our hearts
We must play with the children
We must never depart

In these young eyes, lies the truth of it all
In the eyes of the children
By a hearth soft and warm

Let not our hearts, be swayed by the sword.
Put down the weapons
So our hearts can be heard.

Be not dismayed at the wisdom displayed
In the eyes of the children
So young and so brave.

These eyes challenge the wicked,
They challenge the rich
They challenge the powers
Who become meak

In the eyes of the children
In the eyes of new life

There are no greater causes
More worthy than a child

~ An Amish Boy Goes to the Mall ~

A fifteen year old Amish boy and his father were in a mall.
They were amazed by almost everything they saw, but
especially by two shiny, silver walls that could move apart
and then slide back together again.

The boy asked, 'What is this Father?'
The father (never having seen an elevator)
responded, 'Son, I have never seen anything
like this in my life, I don't know what it is.'

While the boy and his father were watching with amazement,
a fat old lady in a wheel chair moved up to the moving walls
and pressed a button.. The walls opened, and the lady rolled
between them into a small room. The walls closed, and the
boy and his father watched the small numbers above the walls
light up sequentially.. They continued to watch until it reached
the last number, and then the numbers began to light
in the reverse order.

Finally the walls opened up again and a gorgeous
24-year-old blond stepped out.

The father, not taking his eyes off the
young woman, said quietly to his son.

'Go get your Mother.'

GO CANADA GO OLYMPICS 2010

The opening ceremonies in Vancouver , BC was nothing short of spectacular!!

It made me proud to be a Canadian.

It was not an easy feat to accomplish but Canadians pulled it together, for the great Athletes, the world is so proud of.
Young men and women, who worked hard to achieve something good enough,
to present to the world.

Our sons and daughters competing, strong, determined, happy,
setting examples for the world to follow.

My heart is full and all I can say is

GOD BLESS CANADA and GO CANADA GO!!!!!

At a glance it's easy to understand that nothing in life is impossible.
You need to dig in and work towards your successes in life.
You cannot fail, unless you stop trying.

On February 12th the clouds in Vancouver skies formed the Olympic circles of peace.

It was awesome!!!

Leaf Whisper of Hope.

Posted by Picasa

An Indian tracker took some pioneers through the plains in the mid-1800's.
Suddenly he stopped and pointed. "Bear have babies." He said.

One of the younger pioneers ran up and asked, "How'd you know that!?."

"I know these things," replied the Indian.

They continued their journey, and a little while later the Indian stopped, pointed, and said:
"Deer tracks."

"How'd you know that!?" asked the young pioneer once again.

"I know these things."

After another hour of journeying, the Indian jumped of his horse and put his ear to the ground. "Buffalo come."

"How'd you know that!?"

"Ear wet."
