Spring Fever

Good Day to EVERY ONE!!

Spring Fever has finally struck.
We have a gorgeous day today.

Above I have a collage with a picture of my tulips and hyacinths
the now old cape with flowers , since I now began another one to replace it with in knitting.
I will have to make a crochet hat to match the one with flowers.
That's how work accumulates. lol

And

I made the pieces for a small candy wrapper bag . It needs the parts to be sewed together now.
I am hoping I will know how to do this and then the project will be finished and I will know I can play with paper on a boring day someday and make purses lol which are useful things.
Sometimes you may need something special to match your attire and if you can get the right colors, you can make it at home faster than you can find something suitable in a store.
It is similar to origami.

I think they are worth making and teaching girls keeps you busy and happy.
Everything people learn in life, is good.

Have a good one!!

Georgia Wool Hat and Scarf

This Georgia Wool Set I made with my own pattern.

This is the first time I made a pattern for horses.
Once the hat is stretched on your head, it looks very nice.
It was worth the effort.
The Georgia Wool is very soft to the touch,
almost silky.
I love this set.
It's sorta like wearing a merry go round.

When you buy multi colored thread,
it sure makes a difference.

A Pleasant Day to Everyone!

Slipper Squares.

These little buggers were sooo much fun to make.
I almost felt bad when I ran out of squares.

I began making random squares for a blanket.
I saw Michaels asking people to throw some into their outdoor box to make blankets for the poor, but mine were not 8x8.
Seeing I didn't have enough for a blanket I decided I would try something else and ended up with these.

All you do is sew up the squares and then if you want to make them soft warm souls just crochet another small patch to sew on the bottom.

I have a lot of them and even added a few for grown ups
Very handy to give as gifts and to keep for visitors when they visit.
Also when you visit some one just pop them into your purse.

I noticed the nice ballerina type purse slippers I always used to buy for a few bucks in the store to put into your purse to wear in other peoples homes sell for 32 dollars today.
Oh well mine are much better, much cheaper, softer and warmer.
