La Foule - Olay!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNTe2h7LLOM

This is so lively I can listen to it all day

This is interesting. La Foule was discovered by Edith Piaf ,in Argentina.
She made it famous in 1957.
She didn't like the original lyrics  by Enrique Dizeo so she made her own.
The song was composed by Angel Cabral of Argentina in 1936

The original song is called "Que nadie sepa mi sufrir", and is one of two Argentine composed Peruvian waltzes that were regional hits, being "Amarraditos" the other. "Que nadie sepa mi sufrir" was composed in 1936, almost twenty years before Edith Piaf heard it from the the 1953 recording by Alberto Castillo (the first recording was done in 1936 by Hugo del Carril).the song completely creating the world hit that is known today as "La Foule".
The original lyrics are clearly meant to be sung by a heartbroken man who has been abandoned by his lover, whereas the Edith Piaf song keeps the heartbreak in the context of a dazed girl who falls for a man in a crowd and then loses him almost immediately.

The song is something like this:

don't be amazed if I tell you what you were
an ungrateful person with my poor heart
- because the fire of your beautiful black eyes
illuminated the way of another other love
and to think that I loved you tenderly
- that I felt better than ever by your side
- and because of those funny things in my life
I saw myself without the kiss from your mouth

lover of my lovers, love of mine
What have to done to me, that I can't resign myself
  - without contemplating about you
- as you paid back badly for my sincere affection
what you'll get is I never mention you again
love of my loves you stopped loving me
don't worry about it, nobody will find out
what do I gain by telling you that there's a many that changed my luck
they make fun of my and nobody knows of my suffering
don't be surprised if I tell you what you were like
  an ungrateful heartbreaker
because the fire of your beautiful black eyes
  illuminated a new love
and to think I simply adored you
that with you I felt like never before
and with those fateful turns of life
I was faced with losing your kisses
love of all my loves you stopped loving me
don't worry about it, nobody will find out
what will i gain by saying there's a man who changed my luck
they mock me because nobody knows my suffering
I will die of lovesickness and nobody will be the wiser.

amor de mis amores si dejaste de quererme / (repeated chorus)
no hay cuidado que la gente de esto no se enterara
que gano con decir que un hombre cambio mi suerte
se burlaran de mi que nadie sepa mi sufrir
