I don't think that the turkeys enjoy Thanksgiving very much,lol !
In fact in the past there was a kind of Thanksgiving in Germany but it was in October to celebrate and thank for the harvest. But it doesn't exist anymore. End November is too close to Christmas, I think.
Anyway I hope you had a nice celebration and put on some pounds !

GattinaL in Canada ours is in October and you are right it was to thank for the harvest.
And also I am sure the turkeys are not happy.
In general people eat too much meat.
Would be nicer if we just ate eggs
I wonder what the little chicks look like I don;t think I ever saw a new born turkey chick.:)

We live in Canada, China. Our Thanks giving was in October, usually around the 10th.
It always makes me wonder why the US has it's Thanksgiving so close to Christmas.More things to celebrate I guess.Thanks for your kind comments. :)
