The Ajaeng is a string instrument with strings of twisted silk.
A stick made out of forsythia wood is scraped against the strings like a bow. The instrument has 7 strings. Some have up to 9 strings.It sounds like a cello

ReplyDeleteI just found this album so I am trying to put some pics on line.
Seoul is a place I wouldn't mind going back to and just visiting for a while. There is lots to see and learn.I forgot a lot already and it is nice to just look back and remember.
The mosaic and the music are just wonderful. So peaceful. Music the snow could fall by.
