Ol Man Winter




We took this shot in Whistler,BC.
It's unbelievable how the soft snow flakes wrapped tucked and warmed this small sapling.
It looked like old man winter, with his head and body bent low,
trudging along, oblivious of the beauty surrounding him.

He is used to it, as he is the one who brings it, wherever he goes.
I had to take this shot.
It was just too good to pass up.

    Yes - that certainly DOES look like Old Man Winter! Very nice photograph.

    Here in Iowa we are getting snow tonight. Supposed to get 4 to 8 inches.

    I am thinking it would be quite beautiful in the Whistler area this time of year.
