A woman went to a resort with her son...finds a hero

A woman went to a resort with her son. When they came back home, she told her husband, "I liked it very much. The sea was beautiful. Also, I met a Hero of the Soviet Union, a nice guy."The son said, "What kind of hero is he if he was afraid to be in the dark room without my mom?"

My opinion.....

A Can of worms was left behind by Michael Jackson.

Now why is everyone surprised?

Celebrities think they have money and now can buy anything and anyone they want.

Want a baby? Hire a surrogate. Buy sperm and eggs and make designer babies. Make 20.

Children are like puppy dogs. You breed them in droves without considering how these children will be raised by YOU as a parent?

Why do people want kids today?

Would I want to be raised this way? Given life this way?

No loving home. No loving parents. Weird understanding of what love is;

life on the fast lane, being dragged around before even understanding why this was all happening to me?

How will society stay ahead if people don’t study and just live for money and sex?

And why should it only be people who live for money and sex,

that should have such “opportunities” to “design” things in their lives?

What drives these people to use science in this manner?

Why are doctors and scientists allowed to do these procedures?

I mean, what is this octo mom thingy?

It’s not enough to do what you want?

What about what the life you bring forth needs?

Is there no sense of responsibility anymore?

Does this octo Mom woman have eight arms and breasts

to care for so many babies?

Even Moms with one baby find it tiring.

Now if this is ok for these people to do, then it is ok for the army, the navy etc..

Politicians have the right to decide who will have children and if young people can be convinced in schools through pressure groups, that having your own children through a couple in love is wrong or not healthy, well then society will be turned into a meat production plant and this is where you have to buy your new stocks and bonds because its going to be a HUGE market.

The value of human life will go down though, once you are born, because you will not be designer enough and expendible.

We diagnose Hitler to no end for trying to create a designer population but it looks like Hitler was way ahead of his time and not such a bad guy after all.

Given free will, look at what people are doing today?

Then when they die, they leave a mess behind, like what Mr Jackson did with his three children.

Now the law has to come in to investigate to find out exactly who these little people are?

Three innocent souls will be hurt for nothing.

They don’t know who they are and probably never will know and to be raised by people like Madonna or Anjolina Jolie who may have money but at what expense……well are they role models?

And why do people give their children up so easily? They should bargain for keeping the child and having the rich help the community they live in with better jobs running water, schools, houses etc….

Michael was not a happy man. He tried to find happiness but happiness is not found in collecting kids or animals or even building a Neverland.

Looking at Michael’s life we see his Neverland could never be a reality, as even in the story, the kids had to wake and grow up. Michael lived in an unrealistic world he couldn’t get out of. It was ok for him to make this decision to live in this world he built, for himself, but was it/is it, ok for him to bring children into it?

He brought them into this world, he controlled everything around them and now he is dead and no one knows the mental effect it will have on these kids. They can’t handle the outside world and so will have to continue living caged like Michael was.

The same goes with Jolie and Madonna and even Cher. Look what her daughter is doing?

And they call themselves role models for our kids? Now we have rappers which are even worse and tell it like it is.

Why lie about their own mothers being b’s and mf’s. If I was told my Mother was a B… how would that make me feel about my Mother, the sacred woman that gave me birth?

They thrive on headlines. They feed people nonsense and don’t care that they are hurting so many. The public can’t see through them, can’t see these people are laughing and taking their money to the bank. Businesses are making money out of things they should never be making money out of.

Michael shape shifted during his life to show people something. But no one understood.

As you are being robbed of innocence, innocence changes into ugliness. Maybe his soul was not touched because he decided to stay in Neverland but maybe it was because he also had to leave it and grow up. He had to dull his pain to leave his world and this cost him his life.

Its all very heavy on the heart to see this happening in the world.

Society really needs to stop and reflect on what it is doing.

To be “civilized” means having certain principles to live under.

Otherwise we have to stop deluding ourselves into believing we are living in “civilized”countries

because I don’t see anything civilized about this sort of behavior.

Are we all Peter Pans living in Neverland?

What is wrong with our lives that we need to escape and how far are we to run?

We know we are born to die but in a case like Michaels, why bother to be born at all?

Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.

The Lord tells us that the false prophets have power to show great signs and do great wonders. Everything about their persons say they are genuine, sincere prophets of God, BUT they are wolves in sheep's clothing! Mat 7:22, tells us that the false prophets themselves were convinced of their genuineness based upon their love for God and their ability to do great signs and wonders.

wolves... is a term used for cruel, greedy, rapacious, destructive men.

What we see today, is a world, which needs a lot of reining in because teachers are not allowed to teach anymore. The entertainment industry has taken over everything.

Are you into gardening and do you have a green thumb

A husband and his wife who have been married 20 years were doing some yard work. The man was working hard cleaning the BBQ grill while his wife was bending over, weeding flowers from the flower bed.

So the man says to his wife, "Your rear end is almost as wide as this grill." She ignored the remark.

A little later, the husband takes his measuring tape and measures the grill, then he goes over to his wife while she is bending over, measures her rear end and gasps, "Geez, your butt really IS as wide as the grill!" She ignores this remark as well.

Later that night while in bed, her husband starts to feel frisky. The wife calmly responds, "If you think I'm gonna fire up the grill for one little wiener, you are sadly mistaken."

WHEN I SAY I AM BROKE...I AM BROKE!!

Yesterday I answered a knock on the door, only to be confronted by a well-dressed young man carrying a vacuum cleaner. 'Good morning,' said the young man. 'If I could take a couple of minutes of your time, I would like to demonstrate the very latest in high-powered vacuum cleaners.' 'Go away!' I said. 'I haven't got any money!', 'I'm broke!' and proceeded to close the door. Quick as a flash, the young man wedged his foot in the door and pushed wide open. 'Don't be too hasty!' he said. 'Not until you have at least seen my demonstration.' And with that, he emptied a bucket of horse manure on to my hallway carpet. 'If this vacuum cleaner does not remove all traces of this horse manure from your carpet, Sir, I will personally eat the remainder.' I stepped back and said, 'Well I hope you've got a f***ing good appetite, because they cut off my electricity this morning. What part of 'broke' do you not understand?'

Montreux Switzerland...c'est la belle vie

My dear cyber-friend Peter of Worldman , who is currently serving with the United Nation in Sri Lanka to help with the plight of so many refugees, is originally from Montreux Switzerland , as many of you will remember, he told us.
Recently my Cousin, who lives in England, had to go to Montreux for an important scientific conference on some research work he's engaged in.
As we exchange daily emails, him being in England and I in Canada, I asked him if by any chance he had taken any pictures whilst he was there. He emailed me the following 5 pictures which he captured with his cell phone and I thought...Oh my...it might just make Peter happy if I posted these in his honor . So the next five pictures are compliments of my Cousin and the map above I just threw in so you can visualize where exactly Montreux is.
The view is just lovely even with what looks like dull weather. :)

Little Johnny gives to the sick......

Little Johnny was in church with him mom for Sunday Mass when he suddenly felt nauseous. "Mom, I think I'm going to throw up!"

She told him, "I want you to run outside as fast as you can. Run across the lawn and go behind the bushes. You can throw up behind the bushes and nobody will see you."

So Little Johnny hauled ass for the door. Less than a minute later, he returned to his seat next to his mom. He had the look of obvious relief on his young face.

"Did you make it all the way to the bushes, Johnny?" "I didn't have to go that far, mom. Just as I got to the front door, I found a box that had a sign on it: FOR THE SICK.''

This isn’t a Garter snake but a darn good meal.

Lifes Little Traumas

Garden Grass Snakes also known as Garter Snakes (Thamnophissirtalis) canbe dangerous. Yes, garter snakes, not rattlesnakes.
Here's why..A couple in Sweetwater , Texas , had a lot of potted plants. During a recent cold spell, the wife was bringing a lot of them indoors toprotect them from a possible freeze. It turned out that a little green garter snake was hidden in one ofthe plants. When it had warmed up, it slithered out and the wife saw it gounder the sofa.
She let out a very loud scream. The husband (who was taking a shower) ran out into the living room nakedto see what the problem was.She told him there was a snake under the sofa.He got down on the floor on his hands and knees to look for it. About thattime the family dog came and cold-nosed him on the behind. He thought thesnake had bitten him, so he screamed and fell over on the floor. His wife thought he had had a heart attack, so she covered him up, toldhim to lie still and called an ambulance.
The attendants rushed in, would not listen to his protests, loaded him onthe stretcher, and started carrying him out.About that time, the snake came out from under the sofa and theEmergency Medical Technician saw it and dropped his end of thestretcher. That's when the man broke his leg and why he is still in thehospital.
The wife still had the problem of the snake in the house, so she called ona neighbor who volunteered to capture the snake. He armed himself with arolled-up newspaper and began poking under the couch. Soon he decided itwas gone and told the woman, who sat down on the sofa in relief. But while relaxing, her hand dangled in between the cushions, where shefelt the snake wriggling around.
She screamed and fainted, the snake rushed back under the sofa. The neighbor man, seeing her lying there passed out, tried to use CPR torevive her.The neighbor's wife, who had just returned from shopping at the grocerystore, saw her husband's mouth on the woman's mouth and slammed herhusband in the back of the head with a bag of canned goods, knocking himout and cutting his scalp to a point where it needed stitches.
The noise woke the woman from her dead faint and she saw her neighborlying on the floor with his wife bending over him, so she assumed that thesnake had bitten him. She went to the kitchen and got a small bottle ofwhiskey, and began pouring it down the man's throat.By now, the police had arrived. Breath here......They saw the unconscious man, smelled the whiskey, and assumed that adrunken fight had occurred.
They were about to arrest them all, when thewomen tried to explain how it all happened over a little green snake. The police called an ambulance, which took away the neighbor and hissobbing wife. Now, the little snake again crawled out from under the sofa and one of thepolicemen drew his gun and fired at it.
He missed the snake and hit theleg of the end table. The table fell over, the lamp on it shattered and,as the bulb broke, it started a fire in the drapes. The other policeman tried to beat out the flames, and fell through thewindow into the yard on top of the family dog who, startled, jumped outand raced into the street, where an oncoming car swerved to avoid it andsmashed into the parked police car.
Meanwhile, neighbors saw the burning drapes and called in the firedepartment. The firemen had started raising the fire ladder when they werehalfway down the street. The rising ladder tore out the overhead wires, put out the power, and disconnected the telephones in aten-square city block area (but they did get the house fire out).
Time passed! Both men were discharged from the hospital, the house wasrepaired, the dog came home, the police acquired a new car and all wasright with their world.A while later they were watching TV and the weatherman announced a coldsnap for that night. The wife asked her husband if he thought they shouldbring in their plants for the night. And that's when he left her

Love letters like you never seen before...trust me on this one

Abigail Adams ~ Dec 23, 1782
...should I draw you the picture of my heart it would be what I hope you would still love though it contained nothing new. The early possession you obtained there, and the absolute power you have obtained over it, leaves not the smallest space unoccupied.
I look back to the early days of our acquaintance and friendship as to the days of love and innocence, and, with an indescribable pleasure, I have seen near a score of years roll over our heads with an affection heightened and improved by time, nor have the dreary years of absence in the smallest degree effaced from my mind the image of the dear untitled man to whom I gave my heart.
Abigail Adams to John Adams, her husband. He became the second president of the United States. Written December 23, 1782
Beethoven ~ July 6, 1806
My angel, my all, my very self -- only a few words today and at that with your pencil -- not till tomorrow will my lodgings be definitely determined upon -- what a useless waste of time. Why this deep sorrow where necessity speaks -- can our love endure except through sacrifices -- except through not demanding everything -- can you change it that you are not wholly mine, I not wholly thine?
Oh, God! look out into the beauties of nature and comfort yourself with that which must be -- love demands everything and that very justly -- that it is with me so far as you are concerned, and you with me. If we were wholly united you would feel the pain of it as little as I!
Now a quick change to things internal from things external. We shall surely see each other; moreover, I cannot communicate to you the observations I have made during the last few days touching my own life -- if our hearts were always close together I would make none of the kind. My heart is full of many things to say to you - Ah! -- there are moments when I feel that speech is nothing after all -- cheer up -- remain my true, only treasure, my all as I am yours; the gods must send us the rest that which shall be best for us.
Your faithful,Ludwig

Juliet Drouet ~ 1835
Friday 8 p.m.
If only I were a clever woman, I could describe to you my gorgeous bird, how you unite in yourself the beauties of form, plumage, and song!
I would tell you that you are the greatest marvel of all ages, and I should only be speaking the simple truth. But to put all this into suitable words, my superb one, I should require a voice far more harmonious than that which is bestowed upon my species - for I am the humble owl that you mocked at only lately, therefore, it cannot be.
I will not tell you to what degree you are dazzling and to the birds of sweet song who, as you know, are none the less beautiful and appreciative.
I am content to delegate to them the duty of watching, listening and admiring, while to myself I reserve the right of loving; this may be less attractive to the ear, but it is sweeter far to the heart.
I love you, I love you. my Victor; I can not reiterate it too often; I can never express it as much as I feel it.
I recognise you in all the beauty that surrounds me in form, in colour, in perfume, in harmonious sound: all of these mean you to me. You are superior to all. I see and admire - you are all!
You are not only the solar spectrum with the seven luminous colours, but the sun himself, that illumines, warms, and revivifies! This is what you are, and I am the lowly woman that adores you.
Juliette
Juliette Drouet, French actress, to Victor Hugo, French writer, some time in 1835. She wrote passionate and lyrical love letters to Hugo for over 50 years.

Lord Byron ~ August 25, 1819
My dearest Teresa,
I have read this book in your garden;--my love, you were absent, or else I could not have read it. It is a favourite book of yours, and the writer was a friend of mine. You will not understand these English words, and others will not understand them,--which is the reason I have not scrawled them in Italian. But you will recognize the handwriting of him who passionately loved you, and you will divine that, over a book which was yours, he could only think of love.
In that word, beautiful in all languages, but most so in yours--Amor mio--is comprised my existence here and hereafter. I feel I exist here, and I feel I shall exist hereafter,--to what purpose you will decide; my destiny rests with you, and you are a woman, eighteen years of age, and two out of a convent. I love you, and you love me,--at least, you say so, and act as if you did so, which last is a great consolation in all events.
But I more than love you, and cannot cease to love you. Think of me, sometimes, when the Alps and ocean divide us, --but they never will, unless you wish it.
Winston Churchill ~ January 23, 1935
My darling Clemmie,
In your letter from Madras you wrote some words very dear to me, about my having enriched your life. I cannot tell you what pleasure this gave me, because I always feel so overwhelmingly in your debt, if there can be accounts in love.... What it has been to me to live all these years in your heart and companionship no phrases can convey.
Time passes swiftly, but is it not joyous to see how great and growing is the treasure we have gathered together, amid the storms and stresses of so many eventful and to millions tragic and terribleyears?
Your loving husband

John Constable ~ February 27, 1816
I received your letter my ever dearest Maria, this morning. You know my anxious disposition too well not be aware how much I feel at this time. At the distance we are from each other every fear will obtrude itself on my mind. Let me hope that you are not really worse than your kindness, your affection, for me make you say...I think...that no more molestation will arise to the recovery of your health, which I pray for beyond every other blessing under heaven.
Let us...think only of the blessings that providence may yet have in store for us and that we may yet possess. I am happy in love--an affection exceeding a thousand times my deserts, which has continued so many years, and is yet undiminished...Never will I marry in this world if I marry not you. Truly can I say that for the seven years since I avowed my love for you, I have...foregone all company, and the society of all females (except my own relations) for your sake.
I am still ready to make my sacrifice for you...I will submit to any thing you may command me--but cease to respect, to love and adore you I never can or will. I must still think that we should have married long ago--we should have had many troubles--but we have yet had no joys, and we could not have starved...Your FRIENDS have never been without a hope of parting us and see what that has cost us both--but no more. Believe me, my beloved & ever dearest Maria, most faithfully yours, John

Count Gabriel Honore de Mirbeau ~ 1780
Sophie,
To be with the people one loves, says La Bruyere is enough -- to dream you are speaking to them, not speaking to them, thinking of them, thinking of the most indifferent things, but by their side, nothing else matters. O mon amie, how true that is! and it is also true that when one acquires such a habit, it becomes a necessary part of one's existence.
Alas! I well know, I should know too well, since the three months that I sigh, far away from thee, that I possess thee no more, than my happiness has departed. However, when every morning I wake up, I look for you, it seems to me that half of myself is missing, and that is too true.
Twenty times during the day, I ask myself where you are; judge how strong the illusion is, and how cruel it is to see it vanish. When I go to bed, I do not fail to make room for you; I push myself quite close to the wall and leave a great empty space in my small bed. This movement is mechanical, these thoughts are involuntary. Ah! how one accustoms oneself to happiness.
Alas! one only knows it well when one has lost it, and I'm sure we have only learnt to appreciate how necessary we are to each other, since the thunderbolt has parted us. The source of our tears has not dried up, dear Sophie; we cannot become healed; we have enough in our hearts to love always, and, because of that, enough to weep always.
Gabriel

John Keats ~ March 1820
Sweetest Fanny,
You fear, sometimes, I do not love you so much as you wish? My dear Girl I love you ever and ever and without reserve. The more I have known you the more have I lov'd. In every way - even my jealousies have been agonies of Love, in the hottest fit I ever had I would have died for you. I have vex'd you too much. But for Love! Can I help it? You are always new. The last of your kisses was ever the sweetest; the last smile the brightest; the last movement the gracefullest. When you pass'd my window home yesterday, I was fill'd with as much admiration as if I had then seen you for the first time. You uttered a half complaint once that I only lov'd your Beauty. Have I nothing else then to love in you but that? Do not I see a heart naturally furnish'd with wings imprison itself with me? No ill prospect has been able to turn your thoughts a moment from me. This perhaps should be as much a subject of sorrow as joy - but I will not talk of that. Even if you did not love me I could not help an entire devotion to you: how much more deeply then must I feel for you knowing you love me. My Mind has been the most discontented and restless one that ever was put into a body too small for it. I never felt my Mind repose upon anything with complete and undistracted enjoyment - upon no person but you. When you are in the room my thoughts never fly out of window: you always concentrate my whole senses. The anxiety shown about our Love in your last note is an immense pleasure to me; however you must not suffer such speculations to molest you any more: not will I any more believe you can have the least pique against me. Brown is gone out -- but here is Mrs Wylie -- when she is gone I shall be awake for you. -- Remembrances to your Mother.
Your affectionate, J. Keats

Ronald Reagan ~ March 4, 1983
Dear First Lady
I know tradition has it that on this morning I place cards Happy Anniversary cards on your breakfast tray. But things are somewhat mixed up. I substituted a gift & delivered it a few weeks ago.
Still this is the day, the day that marks 31 years of such happiness as comes to few men. I told you once that it was like an adolescent's dream of what marriage should be like. That hasn't changed.
You know I love the ranch but these last two days made it plain I only love it when you are there. Come to think of it that's true of every place & every time. When you aren't there I'm no place, just lost in time & space.
I more than love you, I'm not whole without you. You are life itself to me. When you are gone I'm waiting for you to return so I can start living again.
Happy Anniversary & thank you for 31 wonderful years.
I love you
Your Grateful Husband

Edith Wharton ~ June 8, 1908
There would have been the making of an accomplished flirt in me, because my lucidity shows me each move of the game - but that, in the same instant, a reaction of contempt makes me sweep all the counters off the board and cry out: - "Take them all - I don't want to win - I want to lose everything to you!"
Edith Wharton, an American novelist to W Morton Fullerton, an American journalist, June 8, 1908

Keep on Grinning

It is just awesome when a plan comes together.

Outside the Bristol Zoo, in England , there is a parking lot for 150 cars and 8 coaches, or buses.

It was manned by a very pleasant attendant with a ticket machine charging cars £1 (about $1.40) and coaches £5 (about $7).
This parking attendant worked there solid for all of 25 years.
Then, one day, he just didn't turn up for work.

"Oh well", said Bristol Zoo Management - "we'd better phone up the City Council and get them to send a new parking attendant..."

"Err ... no", said the Council, "that parking lot is your responsibility."

"Err ... no", said Bristol Zoo Management, "the attendant was employed by the City Council, wasn't he?"

"Err ... NO!" insisted the Council.

Sitting in his villa in somewhere in Spain, is a bloke who had been taking the parking lot fees, estimated at £400 (about $560) per day at Bristol Zoo for the last 25 years. Assuming 7 days a week, this amounts to just over £3.6 million ($7 million)!

Women Lovem or Hatem

UCLA Study

A study conducted by UCLA's Department of Psychiatry has revealed that the kind of male face a woman finds attractive can differ depending on where she is in her menstrual cycle.

For instance, if she is ovulating, she is attracted to men with rugged and masculine features.

However, if she is menstruating or menopausal, she is more prone to be
attracted to a man with scissors lodged in his temple and a bat jammed
up his ass while he is on fire.

Further studies are expected.

That's Entertainment.....

Thoughts To Ponder 3

Now if Angelina Jolie can’t hold onto her man with all her lips,

money and fame, then what chance do the rest of us have?

Where is Angelina going wrong?

What do men want in family life?

Why do people marry or live together?

Is it right to steal a man away from a Greek Lady?

Greeks are Orthodox and Orthodoxy usually does not promote divorce.

Once married… divorce or no divorce, in the eyes of God,

you are married till death do you part.

Does Jolie know this? Does Brad?

Does Angelina care? Does Brad?

And why is Aniston having such a difficult time finding a replacement for her ex?

Why didn’t she do what Angelina did, make babies and then say go where you want, do what you want? I’m an actress.

Very peculiar.

Will Brad come home to where he belongs or is he snared,

caged by a widow (divorcee) spider, who will eventually bite his head off

after she is done breeding with him.(apparently she isn’t).

Does Angelina hate Aniston and is waiting to let Brad go after Aniston’s biological clock stops ticking?

Who is the bad guy, Angelina for making babies without a husband or Brad for making babies without a wife?

Angelina would make a great story on Adam and Eve except for the fact there was another woman playing Eve, who isn’t the snake in this story.

Maybe the Adam and Eve story changes now with the snake being Angelina in disguise, who whispers to gullible Eve:

“Take a bite”, to confuse everything and have God throw them out of Eden so she could have her way with Brad.

That’s a very smart and will full snake to ruffle God’s feathers this way.

The Saga continues, as it did with Diana.

Who will be the victor? Hmmmm.

I think the world would like to know the ending to this story.

Will it have a happy ending?

Will it be a Who Dun It, Paparazzi story?

Many young girls admire Angelina and are using her as a role model.

Is she really?

What does this say for and about men or even about women?

Isn’t it funny how all of these questions are about attacking the status quo?

If we had no status quo, the media would have nothing to run with.lol

The status quo is the “Right” and “Wrong” ways of doing things.

The right way is supposed to make people happy but Angelina is doing everything the wrong way and continues to do so… so the question…. Is she happy?

Is she making people around her happy?

The Media is running with it, not caring about what it does to the

young people reading their stuff.

Most will not have the money, looks, fame and ingenuity Angelina does.

Most will not be able to get away with the story lines and the fables

this woman is spinning to her audience for money,

without movies.lol

Food for thought

Chers daughter Chastity, is 40 and wants to have a sex change operation.
This is an extreme and
very painful procedure to do and she will never really function as a male.

New technology has the ability of looking into peoples brains and comparing them to the
“normal” brain.

They found chemical differences between the gay brain and the normal brain.
They will probably find differences in the pedophile brain a well as brains from killers with no conscience like the Ice Man.

If the chemicals in our bodies and brains control how we feel and behave towards the opposite sex, or about people and children in general,
how far are we willing to deviate from the normal brain, people raised civilizations on?

It seems that with chemical inducements, people could all be “normal” with normal feelings toward the opposite sex and children and there could be hate/ anger management through drugs for people who can kill without a blink of an eye and pretend it never happened.

Making an allowance for the brain difference in gay people would mean we would have to agree to make allowances to other brain differences.
Otherwise this would be seen as
discrimination and against human rights.

We would have killers, and situations like the RENA VIRK story, claim what they did was ok and no one could put them on trial for these crimes.
Pedophiles would have the same argument.
Today many are doing just that in law courts, saying they can’t be judged for their crimes and that their activities are not criminal, since they are not in control of the differences in their brains.

We still have to debate on how young children’s souls are hurt to see gay people parading their love, before they get their own sexuality sorted out especially when they see their own dysfunctional families.

It seems the gay population is increasing big time lately . We can say that maybe it is nature’s way of saying we have enough people on this planet and maybe the gay lifestyle is the future. However…….the next step would be for the brain to change again into
Asexual behavior, meaning, as the intellect grows, mankind might decide love etc…
is all a chemical induced delusion/illusion, no one has any need for.
Why waste time and energy on emotion?

People will live as individuals, family will be defunct and children will be grown in test tubes and labs as needed, to replace a proper sized society this planet can afford to keep alive.

It could happen and maybe even within the next few generations.
We are still struggling with issues of Parkinsons and Alzheimers and now we can also ask if and how maybe stem cell transplants etc.. may help in this area in other problems people have. Or maybe there are other things we have yet to discover that will be able to help.
No one should have to undergo such drastic procedures as what Chastity is planning on doing to feel like she belongs in her God given body.

This is interesting food for thought

Congratulations are called for here.....

TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED the 1930's, 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's!! First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant. They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes.

Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-based paints. We had no child proof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets, not to mention the risks we took hitchhiking.

As infants & children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, booster seats, seat belts or air bags.

Riding in the back of a pick up on a warm day was always a special treat. We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle.

We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and NO ONE actually died from this. We ate cupcakes, white bread and real butter and drank Kool-aid made with sugar, but we weren't overweight because, WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING!

We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on. No one was able to reach us all day. And we were OK.

We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem.

We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's, X-boxes, no video games at all, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVD's, no surround-sound or CD's, no cell phones, no personal computers, no Internet or chatrooms.......

WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them! We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no lawsuits from these accidents. We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.

We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, made up games with sticks and tennis balls and although we were told it would happen, we did not poke out very many eyes. We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them! Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment.

Imagine that!!The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law! These generations have produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever!

The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas. We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned HOW TO
DEAL WITH IT ALL! If YOU are one of them CONGRATULATIONS!

Effeminate Man

I found these articles From Time and the Strength and Science Weekly interesting, as the debate on gay and straight continues.

Bye Bye Testicles

Testosterone is getting lower and the mainstream media is noticing!
By: Marc Lobliner

Although I am always pretty busy, I try to keep up on what is going on in the world. When I have finished perusing FoxNews.com and other websites while unwinding at night, I occasionally visit Reuters.com to see a completely different perspective. I was shocked when I saw this headline smack dab on the site:
“Men's testosterone levels declined in last 20 years”
As a natural bodybuilder doing everything possible to keep my boys swimming (if ya’ know what I’m sayin’), this made my two less than perfect, glasses-framed eyes head straight for the article. It also made me, in a round-about, Lobliner-like way, take an in-depth look at society and what the heck is going on with our men.

Testosterone
I look around and it is as if men are not the men they used to be. Gone are the days of the “Macho Man”. We have killed him and replaced him with “Sensitive Man” or “Fat Man”. That’s right, I said it. Men, from what I see, are losing respect for themselves and their appearance. There no longer seems to be that “Strong Survive” mentality that I used to see. We have become feminized.
While environmental exposure is hypothesized to be causing some of the “1 percent a year” drop, the article also states, “They hypothesized that the rising prevalence of obesity as well as the sharp decline in cigarette smoking might help explain their findings, given that testosterone levels are lower among overweight people and smoking increases testosterone levels.” This led me to the chicken and the egg approach to thinking.
Are we turning into girly-men (thanks Arnold!) due to the drop in testosterone or is our plight to become a non-sexist, conformist nation driving a male’s natural response to well, being manly, into the dumpster thus lowering testosterone levels? Could this drop in T be an evolutionary response to the end of the man as we were defined?

Male Anatomy

Now I’ll admit, I am married and even have a daughter whom I play dress up with. My wife runs the household, manages finances, has an equal say in everything we do. Heck, she is the glue that keeps us all from falling apart. But what makes me different? Why do I think I am still a man?

Part of being a man is being someone who works hard at whatever it is he decides to do and the one word that best describes what a man is in my opinion is PRIDE. Think about it. You can tell when you have met a man who takes pride in what they do. And when you are a man who also happens to be a Physique Enthusiast or Bodybuilder, you can tell that they take pride in how they look and from my management experience, which also carried over into what they do outside of the gym. They take pride in all that they do!

The bottom line is that men are acting like wimps. Grab hold of yourself, slap yourself in the face, and take some pride in what you do! Take an hour out of the day to train, keep the estrogen and health-problem causing abdominal fat off and take pride in all that you do. If low testosterone is an epidemic, we need to find the treatment right way. This is a good place to start.

Family

The families in the past were different from what we have today.
Before people needed large families because of the high mortality rate and because life was difficult and if you had no family, it was hard to build something in life.
Today family is frowned upon.
They tell you not to have too many children.
They tell you to take the easy way out by divorcing for irreconcilable differences.
They tell you to throw away the old people as well as children
They tell you social services has all the answers
They tell you society owes you for your problems.

They tell you many lies about life and people are buying into it.
They tell you, you have rights to be and do anything and everything you want.
You are there to fill your own emotional physical psychological needs and no one elses.
What they don't tell you is how self destructive all their ideas are and that
what they are doing is actually experimenting with a new society, where they finally got people of all races colors and languages to live together, on one piece of property.

Because of their ideas, companies leave, unions are bereft of meaning, governments fill up with more self serving people who sit wasting time in petty arguments because they have no other ideas on how to resolve things and they'll be damned before they give some one else a chance to. They are willing to sell anything for a vote from any member of society, promising anything, legal or illegal.
Ethics morals and values they say, are hog wash.

What is troublesome is that they promise to make illegal things, legal for a vote.
Laeders in Canada are frowned upon but we give awards to people supporting leadership in the US which is very interesting.

People fear law and order and any effort to establish some is frowned upon.
People don't know what to rebel against.
They are into rebelling for rebelling sake.
Words become more important than actions.

All these things affect families and families are struggling for their rights to exist.
Families, to function, require some form of law and order but if society destroys this inside the family, then the family cannot function anymore.
This is what we are seeing inside families today.

No one is home to hold down the fort. No Mother or Grand parent or Aunt or Uncle.
People just go their own way and do what they want for themselves.

We discuss relationships and needs.
We teach not having to "settle" for things in life.
but you know, many people found lots of happiness in "settling".

People in war conditions, settled for what they had.
People living in poverty settled.
Kings and Queens settled.
People learned to respect and love, for the right reasons and not the wrong.
Actions spoke louder than words.
Actions revealed character and character told people who you were.

Families were treasures. Words like honor meant something and no one needed contracts in those days.

The weaker families become the more society will turn to self destruction because no one will care about anything but themselves.

Evidence is seen everywhere. Recently, the police had a bicycle run to raise money for charity. The money was stolen from the car.
The Canadian Mint is missing Millions of dollars in gold.
Real Estate hires inspectors to inspect new homes. Once the inspection passes they take everything out of the inspected house and put it into another new one to pass inspection, thus selling the other house with many unforeseen repairs for the new owner.
The fraud and corruption list and ID theft, is endless.
Nothing is sacred and no matter where you look, it's all the same.

Families play an enormous role in life. They build trust, good character, teach the true meaning of love, loyalty and honor and this then is taken outside the family into neighborhoods, jobs, government, health and new families.
If the role of family is destroyed, then not much hope will be left to hold onto anything else.
If the country wants to experiment, then this is what they should be experimenting with. Building families just makes the most sense.

I had a family living a few houses away from me.
It was a mixed family She was a beautiful young white girl with two boys, from a huge, muscular, black man, who wore a thick pure gold chain around his neck.
The older, 2 1/2 year old boy, used to run away from his home to play with Nick.
He got into the habit of coming in quietly and stealing things from our home and then he broke what he stole in hisback yard.
I was very sad when his Mom brought back a mandolin in pieces.
It was nothing but my husband brought it from Russia when he went there on a business trip so the fact it came from there was meaningful.
Anyway, he also got into the habit of coming over and peeing on my front door. I would ask him why he did that and he'd tell me to fuck off.
His Mom used to go to a club for exercise and entrusted her baby and the older boy to me for a few hours a day. She seemed lonely, with not too many friends, so I didn't mind.
Young people sometimes need help.
I felt she did.
One day the Dad came over and accused my older son for damaging his son's eye.
My older son was almost 18 with a 2 1/2 yr old baby brother himself.
Now why would he do that? He was never there anyway.

The man went on to tell me I didn't know who he was and he would never do that to my child.
I assured him the worst thing that would happen in my home to his son, was that he would be picked up and taken home to his Mama.
In my house it's a sin to hurt any baby. The very idea was outrages.
This opened up a conversation. I told him his son peed on my front door everyday and told me to f off and he seems to behave worse when he(the Dad) is home.

I told him ok, you can fight me, you can fight my son, my husband, but your son is a little boy talking like a big man with that language he obviously learned from home.

He is going to go out and talk this way to other people, who will beat him up and what I want to know, is how many people are you willing to beat up and/or kill for your sons behavior?

He told me his Father told all the children in his family not to smoke and they never did in front of his face. He said this was RESPECT.

I told him this was not respect. Respect, is when your Father tells you not to smoke...you don't smoke. What you all did was cowardly..... lie.

I saw a veil cover his eyes as he thought about everything we talked about and as I was leaving he took my hand and shook it and told me he was honored to talk to me.

He left to apparently work in carpentry in another province.
A few weeks later we found out he was on the FBI's most wanted list for killing a man.
He bought the house under an assumed name and authorities caught up to him and arrested him and probably took him back to New York where he was from.

The family moved. The family was destroyed. Two boys and a young wife were left on the street to survive......

and as for us.... we were all shocked, not to mention betrayed, about who this man was and what he could have done to my 18 year old son, let alone to Nick, had he continued to believe we hurt his boy.

Now I have to believe there was God involved here because I know this man left his home having learned something, no one was able to teach him until our conversation.
You do not resolve things through killing and the definition of "respect", was not what he thought it was.
So we are living with words we attach meaning to but they do not mean the same thing to all of us.
This is why strong families are important. To destroy Family and God as we are doing today, leaves us little resources other than fighting and war.

My Son the Pip Story

My son Nick (pictured above), was other wise known as the Pip because he always loved to wear hats and he loved clothes and still does. I could never buy him things without his approval. He was a ball man and when other kids went to the toy store for toys he was always hanging in the ball section. That's all he ever wanted.
He was a "self" man and still is.
That was some funny kid.
Today he is finishing grade 11 and has one more year to go before hopefully attending university.
When he was in kindergarten, he made me stay the whole year in class with him.
He never bothered with me but my presence was critical. At the end of the year the teachers said no more.
Nick should stay home until he decided to come on his own to school. So he stayed a few lonely days at home and then told me it was ok, if I sat outside the window so he could see me.
So Nick made me sit outside, on a chair, in front of the school window.
It was cold outside but that was where I had to be.
4th of July my Dad died and we had to rush to Quebec.
My Mom, who had Parkinsons and Alzheimers, lay down beside him to die and together they lay for three days.
By the time the neighbors found them, Mom was in critical shape herself. You can't stop Parkinsons pills cold turkey. Her whole body was seized up. They were taking them both to the morgue when they saw her pinky move.
I was calling all this time and couldn't figure out where they were either.
It took us from July to November to get Mom out of the hospital.
She lay on her side and developed a bruise which created a bone infection and the hospital was basically telling me to sign papers to let her die as well.
I said absolutely not!! My parents paid their dues and now they need help and should get what they deserved. The doctors said they would have to cut her leg off.
I told them no, you fix her leg.
It's tough for old people because they don;t want to spend the time or the money to do what is right.
The neurosurgeons have great power to over power your wishes and I was so afraid they would do that in my Moms case.
I told them she was ok and it's not her fault she is here. It's my Dads for not getting the help he needed. My Dad was what they called a Tete carre in Quebec meaning square or hard headed. They escorted English people out and he being a WW2 man, said this is my home and no one is pushing me out.

We all agreed that running from Quebec was the worst thing the English people did.
700.000 left for Ontario.
By the time we made it back to BC from Montreal it was December.
Nick had a lousy summer in the hospital because we had to go from 8 am to 8 pm every day to care for Mom because the hospital refused to. They said they didn't have the capacity to deal with difficult patients. My mom wasn't difficult but the pills she took for Parkinsons gave her Alzheimers.
They over dozed her at the outset of her disease.
The hospital was quite lenient with Nick and he helped give out the meals and collect the trays. They played with him because they knew how hard it was for a child to stay good. But he behaved so well they didn't mind.
We also found out there were two kind of Parkinsons, one I guess that is curable or containable, the one they want to make implants for and one with lesions on the brain, that is not. I think my Mom had the worse one.
She did not shake on the outside very much, like Katherine Hepburn.
It was all internal.

My son couldn't wait to go to school by himself after a hard summer. He missed his friends and felt left out seeing every one else going to school, while he stayed home.

The school in BC was upset as well to have a student so far behind in his studies.
But Nick did so much work over the summer holidays at the hospital and home studies till December, he was way ahead of every one in his class.
He was up to grade three work.
What I loved about our school was they did not follow a speed reading course but stressed on book enjoyment. The kids read an awful lot at his school. We showed the principal and teachers all his work and they smiled and were so happy.

He had a great year that year and plenty of time to get into mischief to make up for the first half of the year, he was not there.lol
We brought my Mother home and she was happy to stay with the family.
Nick had to be the babysitter instead of the other way around.
I don't know what went on in his mind but he sure did a lot of growing up that year.

We have a small family so what was so touching was, when we came home and parked in our driveway, our neighbor Lennard, ran out of the house and greeted Nick with so much joy, it felt like we really came home.
He was also a soccer coach and kept Nicks spot open for so long, so he could come back and play ball.
I will never forget the tears that came to my eyes to have such great neighbors that day. I was truly blessed and even through hard times, tomorrow always brings a better day. I love kids and this was such a nice gesture on his part.
It is true when they say God doesn;t give you what you want but what you need.
And we sure needed a good dose of Lennard that day.:)
We also needed a bigger house with my Mom so we moved a few streets away.

What Perks Up a Bad Hair Day?

This boy should soon have a very fertile and thick head of hair lol
You know how they say talking to flowers makes them grow better for some reason?

Well my flowers must know I am in a, not so good a mood these days and they are speaking to me.

They bloomed all over the yard, all at once and really perked me up.

I mostly plant roses because of the slugs. They eat everything else.

The flowers said: " Don't worry Moma. Tomorrow is another day and till then, we are here to keep you joyous." lol

I don't know who gets more depressed.

The kids for losing or the Moms because they see depressed teens after they lose,

to whom they are not allowed to speak to lol

I still hear my own Moms voice saying : "Should everything be nice ."

I think she did a better job of keeping things nice than I do.

But then they were allowed to spank and keep order in the house in them days. lol

Every time I look out the window today, I feel soooo blessed with the sun and the flowers.

I even put my turkey in to cook earlier. lol

Need some wicked tips for the day?

Avoid cutting yourself when slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold them while you chop.(Any volunteer Referees?)

Avoid arguments with the Mr. about lifting the toilet seat by letting him use the sink. They do anyway. Especially the visitors.

For high blood pressure sufferers: simply cut yourself and bleed for a few minutes, thus reducing the pressure in your veins. Remember to use a timer. or go give blood at the blood bank and get a cookie,

A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you from rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button. Or better yet, go ahead and snooze, Your job won't be there anyway.

If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives; then you'll be afraid to cough. Or wear depends. :)

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape. Note: Neither works under water.Use at your own risk.

Remember: Everyone seems normal, sick or gay....... until you get to know them.
If you are high.....you won't care either way.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical
problem. Sometimes a little electro therapy fixes a lot of things.

Daily Thought:

SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES; NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

Except when they learn to slink back up.

Oh, this has truly become a terrific day :)

My coffee is ready and so I will get to it.

Whose Your Moma? Demi Moore.. Move on Over.

Men Do It.

Single older Ladies Can Get Their Sugar Too.

Here is the rule.

"Once you get to a certain age, it has to stop being an issue. This is the rule I've heard: Halve the older persons age (30/2=15) then add seven (15+7=22) and that's the age difference you can have. So if you're 30, the youngest you can date is 22, but if you think about it, it's actually a pretty decent rule of thumb."

ROSEBUDS & HANGING BASKETS
A teenage granddaughter
comes downstairs for her date
with this see-through blouse on and no bra.
Her grandmother just pitched a fit,
telling her not to dare go out like that!
The teenager tells her!
'Loosen up Grams.
These are modern times.
You gotta let your rose buds show!'
and out she goes.
The next day the teenager comes down stairs,
and the grandmother is sitting there with no top on.
The teenager wants to die.
She explains to her grandmother
that she has friends coming over
and that it is just not appropriate....
The grandmother says,
'Loosen up,
Sweetie.
If you can show off your rose buds,
then I can display my hanging baskets.

Life in Soccer. OOPS?

It has been a very busy week end in Soccer.
And I am finding it hard to get back on track.

We won one and lost one and the one we lost was quite upsetting for every one.
My son scored Saturday It was a two one win.

Sunday they got slaughtered. My son scored one but they came in with 6 quick ones.
Our goalie didn't know what hit him.
He had no defense around him.

Defense wasn't defending.
Refs did not do a good job of reffing.
We sustained lots of injuries.
One of our players fell and the other team's boys (seemed deliberately) stepped on his face leaving a huge cleat mark. Could have been worse. Another boy slid into the feet of our player knocking him down without touching the ball, and he got away with it.
They kept pushing from behind going into football tackles which I don't understand because soccer is supposed to be a non contact sport.
The refs ignored it.But if we ever do such things we get penalized for it.
So I am not sure what was going on but it sure didn't look good.

My son, a forward, never got close to a ball as panic set in and the game degraded.
Had we pulled up our socks we could have done it even then but seems the will was gone.
My son was pretty upset at what he saw transpire on the field and said it was very unprofessional.lol

Well my heart is also heavy for these boys They are good boys.(for the most part lol) If they don't get up and at em, and psychologically overcome the slump they are in, I'm afraid the rest of the games will not be very good for us as we have strong opposition teams to beat.

Hope you all had a great week end.
We will try to keep our chins up this end.

Have a great day :)

Thailand Elephant Chair

I got one for myself because I thought it would be a great conversation piece when I got back home.
I had no idea I would be using it for a crib but it sure paid off.

You use foam for the mattress and to put around the sides.
Like a baby basket (which I also made with lace and padding to bring my baby home from the hospital) you can turn it into something truly joyous.

The open side you place against the wall. There is more than enough room for a baby to sleep in for about 2-3 even 4 years but usually after 1 1/2 they tend to go into either a bunk, twin or a double bed and then you are left with a crib you have no use for.

The Elephant chair could be used as a coffee table, which it is now and I also used it for decoration and picture taking.
It is great to put in a doll display, stuffed toys. books, magazines and other displays you want people to see through glass.

Fill it with cushions and kids will still like to climb into it to watch TV, imagining they are sitting atop a huge elephant.

Before long, you find them curled up and sleeping like angels.
They never have nightmares sleeping in this ol chair because so many stories can be invented sitting beside it, and they go to sleep, heroes on a great adventure. (Like something out of a Never Ending Story)

If you have guests with babies, well the good ol elephant chair becomes a crib again because it is so easy to store the padding for it.

Anyway... this is my elephant chair. I enjoyed it so much and have great memories from it.

And besides.....you never know when an elephant may decide to pop in and give you a ride .lol
